Because games development and marketing is expensive, and gaming devs/publishers need to eat. Also, if you're worried about price, just wait like half a year and then you can buy them on Steam? Battlefield and TitanFall probably won't keep their value as well, since the multiplayer might've died down a bit by then, but you're not really missing out on anything with Dishonored 2. Plus, buying later means that you don't have to deal with day 1 bugs because all the patches will be done after 6 months.

Heretic and Hexen had animal power ups, too. Heretic had the morph ovum, which turned things into chickens, and Hexen had the porkalator, which turned things into pigs. In single player, you had to use cheat codes to actually become the animals, but in multiplayer, they're thrown weapons to use against each other.

And of course Jane hasn't told Andy that she has given his crown and Scepter to the VR King and the Goggles Andy needs to get to said king require him to battle Oryx from Destiny, outwit 47 and evade assassination as he crosses a very very packed ball room, slaughter an entire WAAAGH! of Orks and then he needs to walk into and successfully navigate through Mordor. All this and Andy might be half way to reaching the VR King and finding out (in a surprise plot twist) that Jane actually had them behind her on the Sofa the entire time.

There are all sorts of wars in the 19th century and earlier which are practically untouched by video games, but there's also basically everything in World War Two that didn't happen in Europe or sometimes the Pacific theater. Weird; it's almost as if video game publishers think a game where _both sides_ have dark skin wouldn't sell as well as ones where only the _antagonists_ have dark skin.
