+Andrew Marke In the original Yu-Gi-Oh manga, someone rolls a 7 on a d6 because he angrily threw the die at the MC, and it cracked in half down the middle and got a 1 and a 6. Still can't make 15 with 2 d6s though.

I once got a "neither" on a coin toss. It landed on the table perfectly balanced on it's edge, so it was neither heads nor tails. We were using coin tosses instead of die to play the Call of Chtulhu game because our DM forgot his die and we thought it would be funny to play everything on a 50% chance of success instead of not playing at all. Unlucky for me, we had jokingly stated earlier that if the coin ever landed on it's edge it would constitute a blunder, so I lost an arm or something.

Adam McDDcM Yup, it is well known that any dropped dice is automatically translocated to Narnia. The exception of course being D4 which instead become invisible in untill you find them with your feet.

Probably not. I mean, most DNA is identical between organisms. Of course, the chances of only Cena-unique DNA being preserved is nil, so you'd most likely end up with a set of conflicting transcription activation genes and whatnot, leading to death before reaching the blastocyst stage. Oh, wait, are we operating on real science of Crichton science?

But, here in the Uk, we grew “corn” long before maize/“Indian corn"/corn was discovered, as Andy should know. “Corn” was the catch-all term for any crop harvested for seed ie cereal grains like oats wheat or barley. So that absolutely was a corn field.

Andy - As the OXbox gamer I relate to the most [I'm sorry Mike and Jane, but I'm predisposed towards other Andrews who also enjoy stealth games](and based on how much you enjoy/dominate the minute mechanics of the hitman games), I seriously recommend putting in a solid Dark Souls effort. My best friend literally hounded me for more than a year to play the franchise, and I can't tell you how rewarding the experience was once I got into it.

If it makes you feel any better, _corn_ can refer to the staple cereal crop of a region. I.E. "Oats are the corn of the Scots." In north america, somehow this definition got screwed up with _Maize_ , the _corn_ of the native americans. Probably due to the expression "indian corn".

I'm Dutch and the word for corn is 'mais.' Cornstarch is called 'Maizena'.

Looking up an etymology for maize gives two possibilities. a clumsily borrowed word(for corn) from a native American(more specifically Cuban Taino) language, OR a derivative of an old Iranian for grain in general. Given how badly the Spaniards mangled the borrowed word, I'm not really sure you can say that "maize" is actually derived from Taino. The Taino pronounced it mahis or mahisi. It is true that "corn" was originally used to mean grain in general though.

It might take longer but the best way to relieve cord spaghetti is to disconnect everything, reconnect it all item by item, and use some sort of cable management device (zip ties, velcro strips, etc) to ensure they don't re-tangle themselves the instant your back is turned.

I relate the same on finishing games. The past year I have been trying to catch up since I was so delayed. It doesn't help that 2017 decided to be AMAZING in video games. So I have nearly beaten Super Mario Odyssey (Got under 400 moons), replaying Dark Cloud on the PS4, Dragon Quest VII on the 3DS, and I just got the PS4 so now I can try to catch up on those games. XD
