I get it, everyone loves Kojima. But think about it this way. In a world without mgs, Kojima makes Death Stranding, would be laughed out of the industry, his creative skills are just objectively bad. It's not abstract, it's dumb. Sam Porter Bridges works for Bridges. It's like my toddler's attempts to put things together narrative-wise. If he thinks the film industry will go easy on him, sheesh.

Kojima is also a man of a lot of hurt. He's for sure not completely sane (and by that i mean he probably has depression, or some sort of manic disorder). He's been through quite a bit and as far as i know he's single. But loves his mom dearly. Perhaps she's the inspiration for some of his strong female characters

If I'm not mistaken, Kojima is married right? I remember one of the senarios between Jack and Rose in MGS2 was influenced by a real life scenario between him and his wife where his kid went to his office. At the time, they were visualising levels using Legos and his child told his wife, "Daddy spends all day playing with Legos." Can't remember where I read that though, I think it's in the MG wiki.

"Lets literally fill the sky with ordinance." Funnily enough, this was actual tactic used against bombing runs. The aim was to force the bombers off course so they had to drop their bombs off target or risk running out of fuel.

Well, also Flak cannons fired shells that were more like shrapnel grenades than a conventional explosive. It usually didn't hit something important... usually. Also they were using hand cranks to aim so actually hitting the target was functionally impossible. But they could totally pepper it with shrapnel. WW2 era targeting systems were kinda slow.

yeah the bio card in the game says Dutch lost his arm fighting alien threats sometime between the start of the game and the end of "Predator". It doesn't really say why the new character Kurosawa is a cyborg, but it stands to reason she got "upgraded" for the same reason as the Bionic Woman.(multiple crippling injuries).

Same happens in original DOOM and DOOM II. By just having five sprites and reflecting them in software to get the other three, they reduced the memory requirement for all the images of the various enemies. I think Daggerfall got ambitious enough to use the full set of eight, but they were still flat sprites, so they looked kinda weird from above or below and of course they got the Scorpion side-views the wrong way round because Bethesda.
