Hi Darren, I have a question about the columns in OpenToonz. When I put two columns on top of each other and draw on one, it automatically draws the same on the other column. For example, if I draw a circle and fill it with one color, it automatically fills the other one as well. Is it somehow possible to fill both with a different color? Could you please help me?

It sounds like you're drawing on the same drawing. You can copy the drawing into the same column or into multiple columns. Draw over it in one and it'll be shown in the others. The best way to see this is to change the zoom in the timeline so you can see the level name and drawing number. It sounds like you want to duplicate it and draw on the duplicate. @@DarrenTAnims My drawing is on col1. I copied the drawing and it was pasted to col2. When I fill col1 then col2 also fills. Is it possible to copy the drawing and fill it separately?

@@allanimals_yes. You have to duplicate the drawing, as I said in my previous reply and work on the duplicate.

hey, i was struggle with the 16"x9" rectangle line thingy (idk what it called). like.... when i use another size of canvas that bigger than that rectangle line thingy, it would not let me draw outside the rectangle line, how can i fix it?

If you use a camera that isn't the standard size, as you create your levels (I recommend ALWAYS creating them by clicking one of the New Level buttons on the timeline or from the Level menu), then you need to set your level size to match the camera. Is it possible to work as a freelancer on opentoonz?. In this case, would you have to work alone, since it would be difficult to find a group that uses such a tool?

Yes you can. You can use the software for personal or commercial work. You might find other animators that use OpenToonz. It's starting to gain some traction publicly. However, even if someone doesn't currently use OpenToonz, it uses the same concepts as other software, so would be fairly easy to pick up. I'd expect that a single day of research would bring them up to speed.
