The Showboating helped him, it fooled people into thinking he was doing better than he actually was, the real reason he lost was after the 6th round, Usyk started to set traps so he could counter typically by walking into range without throwing so Fury would establish contact first or by setting a rhythm on the centre line then breaking it to land a punch.

There is no such thing as setting a trap they just throw punches at each other, some land others don't, Fury probably didn't think Usyk had the power to hurt him, that is why he did not take the fight too seriously as he did with Wilder, this time is going to be different he's going there to fight not to box and Usyk is going to need the ref to save him as he's going to complain about everything.

You're right, but the showboating was a consequence of overconfidence, and although Usyk (along with Inoue) is the best boxer in the world, I think Fury will win if he approaches it more like a serious life or death scrap.

Fury showboating because he was nervous. He gave his best shots and usyk gathered himself and kept coming. Everyone making excuses for him saying he was off… pfffft

Fury lost 9 out of 12 rounds, anyone that thinks otherwise is outrageous. Usyk was pushing the pace…there’s not a single time where fury was pushing the pace in that fight or moving usyk back. There’s 0% chance fury wins the rematch without a knockdown or a knockout. If it goes to decision and usyk loses there will be controversy..watch.
