My company has been looking for a new conference mic for our meetings, we are very limited on what we are allowed to buy, Jabra is 1 brand and we have a bunch of the Jabra 510's but not good for a conference room. I saw both of these (810 and 710) and was wondering what would be better, turned to you tube and found this video. I am so glad that you tried the microphone, the 710 was so much clearer on the recieving end. Thats for the review, you saved my trying each one my self.

Great video. Decided on a pair of the Jabra 750 instead of 710 because of the full duplexing as well as the faq on Jabra site has twice the distance listed for syncing the 750

@@geraldh.8047 I returned my 2 710s and got the 750s instead. The speaker dots aren't swirled and there is a Teams logo on it but its the same size. Using these for a large conference room and didn't want syncing issues because of the long distance that will be between them. Wasn't even aware of the 750 model and the next model up, 810 does not sync. We need audio input and output from both ends of a large conference table. I use a VTech conf phone now that has 4 wireless mics but sound only comes from central location

I am looking for scalable solution for zoom meetings for a (non business) association which can depending of the meeting include from 5 up to 25 people in a room . According to your video it clearly appears that for both flexibility and quality Jabra 710 is the good solution. Could you precise how to pair the two units, do you use specific software as Voicemeeter to manage multiple mic inputs ? Could we use a third unit?

Hi William, thanks for watching, and glad to hear this video was helpful to you. There's no additional software required. Both speakerphones have a link button, and It's as simple as holding the link button on each speak 710 for a few seconds. After a few seconds the two link together!

Hi Thomas, you can pair 2 710s together. The 810 doesn't have this feature. How many participants would be on a meeting at a time? There may be a better solution to consider.

I need the best quality microphone for videoconferencing but one that works from up to (say) 5 feet away; with the microphone out of the way/not seen, so not the typical podcaster arrangement with the microphone in the face of the speaker. The quality of the sound and the microphone being out of sight are the primary issues. So far, the only solution has been a speakerphone but I am hoping a dedicated microphone will produce a better sound. The speaker element is not so important, with the PC/laptop speakers doing the job. thanks

810 voice pick-up is disappointing. 810 unit is equipped with 6 microphones ! 710 and 810 are both half-duplex. Half-duplex / Full Duplex : Does it matter in real life ?
