Fantastic, been coarse fishing for decades and just getting more into my sea fishing and loving all these little hints and tips. I shall be making some of these for my next trip :)

Thanks Andy. The Smoothound sesh was a really good night, I just wish I had made the effort to get some fresh crab instead of going with the old freezer burnt stuff I already had lol. I was really happy for Geoff though, he fished well and ended up with a new PB which was great to get on camera. Let me know how you get on with the bait loader, my only bit of advice would be to make a couple of spares just incase you lose one hahaha 😉 Don't forget to check out our facebook page too, www.Facebook.com/TheFishingAddict

+Showmethefishy Hi i collect hard back crabs from langstone and use them for the hounds. just as good as the peeler crabs. i got the idea from Totally Awesome Fishing youtube channel.

Hard backs are a very good bait for the hounds I usually put a crab net out on eastern Road jetty, get a bucket load within half an hour. Chuck all the big ones back and your left with prime hound bait 😉

Do you have to use French booms? Because the metal of the French boom looks very weak and too thin.
@TheFishingAddicts8 жыл бұрын
the wire on the booms I used was on the thin side but you can buy them with a thicker gauge wire too. Having said that, you don't really need it. I have been using the same ones since I made this video 😉
