Honestly, I feel like you have to step away from the rat race more than anything. And I know that sounds irresponsible. But if you don’t have intent, and you don’t have aim or purpose, then you have nothing to really strive for and seek value in when going about it (your day to day). You should at least have some goals, and try to strive for them. For me, I was at my most competent before I started working again. And that’s when I stepped away from social media and created a plan for myself. Couldn’t believe how advanced I really felt. But I felt older by 5 years the way I handled things (decision making on planning, whatnot). High key felt ahead of everyone. Even those with degrees. But now that I’m back working, I’m back distracted for moments of time. So I’m just tryna find my focus back so I can value my mission more (so I can say no when it comes down work or whatever). More time spent perfecting your craft, the closer you get to getting where you wanna be. But you have to be strategic. Can’t do that distracted.

"Confidence comes from competence" - wrong! Never attach your self-value to something that can flip on its head for whatever reason. Confidence comes knowing no matter what happens, no matter where you are, no matter who you are, you don't need validation, attention, 'competence' to validate you. Ie. you don't need anything outside of yourself to validate who you are, no money, no cars, no houses no people nothing. Be unapologetic you all the time, and stop caring what others think, they're all just projecting their traumas anyway.
