Love the pageantry, showmanship, musicality and sheer enthusiasm. Dancers from SU were phenomenal. Both groups did a super job. Lots of hard-working band members, dance teams, directors on display. Congratulations to all.

Salute! UNiquely American ! A much more respectable part of the college culture, more than NCAA football run and operated by corporate greed. If I were US president these horns would be the new anthem. only then i might actually pledge allegiance like a SOLDIER! they're energy and precision timing in my eyes should have guaranteed them all full paid scholarships. @KandieCarter they both won! I think people underestimate Da Boom when it comes to SU, power wise and clarity wise they went toe to toe. But its always song selections that separate SU from everybody else. I'm from Jackson and love da Boom. But ill always give my honest opinion.

I think SU put the hurt on the boom with the arrangements….I think Boom had a better field show a day later. I love the matchup of these two titans . This goes wayyyy back to the 70s when this rivalry was coming into its own. Two of HBCU s finest!

Running out the stadium was not the case. It was held at a location where JSU had no control over time. It was held there cause a lot of people couldn't get into the gym when it was held at JSU. So they went for the bigger site.
