Even the traces of chemical , basically fungicide, remaining in the substrate can inhibit the growth of mushroom fungus. But in a systematic way you can go for chemical sterilization.

well nice video, but maybe its safer for me not to put all eggs in one bag. And i read a research that shows the yield results according to compost size/weight. It was 6 kg the optimum amount.But maybe i'm wrong.I'm a newbeee :)

No. Wood saw dust takes years to become food for mushrooms. It can't be a substrate

@@ShramajeeviAgriFilms That is absolutely not true, we use Red alder sawdust in our mushroom blocks here in the states. Saprophytic mushrooms LOVE hardwood. What matters is what else do you have in the substrate to provide Nutrition to the Myclium. We use Red Alder as the base, oats, coffee grinds & organic red wheat berries. If you use liquid culture your bag will begin colonizing within 10 days, after about a month you should start getting your first primordia to start pinning as long as the bags are kept in sterile enviroment & proper Temprature, air flow & humidity are maintained.

as i remember, other mushroom producers says like 50% of the weight of substrate (i dont remember if that only refers to the first harvest or several) and because this guy is saying they use mycelium 3-5% and 2-3kg of it, i can estimate that the harvest is somewhere 50kg because the substrate should be like 100kg if 3% and 3kg
