I am quite flabbergasted at how a $50 meme advent calendar can do better than a $1,300 Swarovski calendar. And it’s not even a full calendar! The lip gloss reminds me of the ones I used to get at Limited Too when that was around in the mall. Such nostalgia! I’m not a makeup person so this would all be lost on me but I do like the look of the items and the official feel of each piece. My least favorite was yesterdays calendar cuz I hate getting doubles of things then the Swarovski one. I don’t have a big favorite so far but I did like the Mattel Harry Potter doll calendar, the Lush calendar and I do like this one. Amazing how a huge brand can blow so bad on something that expensive and a small meme brand collab can do so amazing on something so inexpensive.

It makes sense that the Prince Charming lipgloss had glitter in it, because in the movie Fiona asks Charming if he has glitter on his lips 😂 and he says "cherry flavored, want a taste?" How perfect! What attention to detail.

Omg this was the best so far... I think the scrunchie is to represent the candy cane, that ginge used as a walking stick when he got hurt in the film. I'm not a makeup person but the colours on the make up pallet I would use and the lipstick definitely my colour. The best is todays and lush a close second I would use the tin for ginger bread biscuits. This video made me laugh as well so triple thumbs up from me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

With shiny eyeshadow, get the nyx glitter eyeshadow primer. It will stick so put it on first. Keep your eye closed till the liquid dries. Use a fan to help it go faster.

Cosmetics were used in the Shrek movies. The third had Shrek and Fiona in wigs and makeup. Prince Charming used lip gloss. "Cherry flavored.. want a taste?" This is way better than the crystal one! There will be another Shrek film. In the ending of the recent Puss in Boots The Last Wish movie... everyone was on a ship and we see the Far Far Away sign on the hill. Puss says they are going to visit some old friends. :)

After the Swarovski one,I feel everything is better...I'm not very happy about the scrunchie,and the gumdrop,there wasn't anything about Fiona or puss in boots,or the dragon (I would like a 24 or 25 products version). The price is reasonable, the individual packages were pretty, but love the tin,like I only want the tin.

I would save the cute little boxes. You pop a tiny bow on them and put them under a little tree as decor. I would definitely reuse the tin to hold christmas cookies, or should I say biscuits? I'm not a huge packaging person, but this packaging actually adds value to the calendar.❤💚

I really love this calendar I agree on what you said on every one, only thing they could've included something donkey related or puss in boots maybe a mascara (for donkey) and eyeliner (puss in boots). But this has been the best calendar you reviewed I think. Value for money to :)

The scrunchie is supposed to be in reference to the candy cane, Gingy uses at the end of Shrek, as he only has one leg. Also Gingy uses his candy cane in some video games for Shrek 2.

This was a pretty good calendar. My only little cons of this is the fact that for Revolution makeup products not being very expensive it could have probably been a bit cheaper, the hair band looked like something you could buy from the dollar tree, and I feel like they did too much use of the gingerbread man instead of using some of the other great characters as well. Like there was nothing Donkey or Fiona themed even. But the pros are that this didn't have a lot of sample sized products like some of the high end calendars sometimes will have, it did stick to the theme of Shrek very well, and the makeup was nicely pigmented and even though I think it's a bit of a high price for the brand it is at least affordable and a great gift for someone who loves Shrek and makeup.

I could be totally wrong but I thought the make-up sponge was meant to be a gumdrop button (its kinda shaped like that) and the hair scrunchie, possibly because Fiona has her hair up with a scrunchie (And its just red and white to be Christmas themed) :) The Prince Charming Lipgloss looks like the one he's wearing in Shreak 2 When Fiona asks if he is wearing lipfloss and he goes ''Hmm cherry flavour, want a taste?'' Also, the liquid eyeshadow applicator looks like the little sponge end has come off. That's why its flat, hard plastic. Again, could be totally wrong :) LOVE this calendar

I would actually use everything in there. Except I don't like purple blush, but I'd probably use it as eyeshadow. I found myself wishing you were smelling every product, as you skipped some. I was saying, "Smell it!" to all the ones you skipped. LOL! 😄
