I discovered these lovely people and their music on the jazz world stage at Glastonbury in the mid to late 90’s and I have followed their music and loved it since that very moment when the dark stage was initially lit by a spotlight shining down on a harp in the middle of the stage……much love from geordieland uk to everybody who reads this xxx

In my life time I've been in five different bands as a hobby and entertained thousands of people, but never was part of a spectacle like these guys. I'd love to see them live, I think I'd get the hairs on my wrists standing up if I was there live 😍 Not to mention the old days whe I played computer games and these guys entertained me whilst playing magic and mayhem. Good Times

Hi Kane , this is the Afro Celt Sound System I started back in 1995 with the other two original members Johnny and N’Faly . The main difference between this band and the one you refer to is we now run the band as a genuine collective that’s respects the ethnicity and diversity of our collective . We had to fight for this against a corrupt , unethical and controlling management and we won . Just ask Johnny or N’Faly about how badly they were treated in the old band . All our fans know this. So please get your facts right before you post this kind of false news on social media .
@lettielupin2 жыл бұрын
This is the phoenix that rose from the ashes! Saved by original members. Gone is a toxic heirachy. Here is a band that represents inclusitivity, diversity and equality. Each member shines and the whole is a dazzling, inspiring example of how beautiful we can be when love is in action.💖

@@johnbarleycorn3Hello, I first heard the album release not long after it came out and we used to play the cd regularly at house parties just to mix up the vibe in amongst all the other stuff mainly rock , metal and techno! I liked this sound so much I bought a few other albums , it’s timeless stuff but I did hear the band split and there were 2 versions with one being a fake ACSS. I don’t know too much about you but it is Good to know that the originals are back together here fairly recently in 2021 ,this is my first time actually seeing the band since a dvd id seen 20 years ago, which one are you and which ones johnny and N’Faly?
