Nicely explained sir...i feel now i can handle it.. but in ourr indian society the daughter in law is always judged for no reason. I think we have to take that too as their nature only...😊

I like how you talked about free speech because entitlement is a big part of being offended and upset by judgements. So many people think they are entitled to being completely liked and respected by everyone all the time no matter how they behave. While it’s nice and preferable, that is quite rare and we should be grateful for it when it comes our way. Really the only thing we are entitled to is our own self acceptance, and if we have that foundation nothing anyone says can truly shake us.

I now personally take an unconditional type of understanding to approach with family and any other people. I respect all differences, I don't like to play status games. But I'm also well-aware that just because I reached this mental stage because of personal efforts & long healing process, doesn't mean that every other person have transformed. I can't start expecting my same attitude from others. I still expect other to judge me like I use to judge earlier. And I have truly made peace with this fact that it is going to happen no matter what I do. You are still seeing themself in some special light. The day you can hear criticism about yourself with the same feeling that you hear criticism about other, you have become enlightened. It is possible, you will just need to remove the Ego and Specialness from yourself. Bottomline no body is special, everybody will judge everybody else. Accept it don't get shocked, don't get angry.

I am the opposite. And have always lived with opposites, both together, patience or impatience, peace or losing your temper. I spent my beginning of my life, not judging anyone or anything, I can't tell you how much trouble that caused me and others but also how freeing it was. Where I live, you can wear what you like, within reason, as long as you have what needs to be covered up, its fine in other words, you are not exposing your genitals. I went the other way, into poverty to learn and that is where I feel comfortable, not in the too poor, or not in the wealthy, because I have been in that way as well and both are corrupt. I learnt to judge, with wisdom, understanding, not to be critical but to be helpful and give feedback, in other words tell the truth and be honest. Problem is, every other place, tried to make us and say its like this or like that, where I am its not like this or its not like that. A lot of the time, the truth telling is assumptions that people believe that its like a certain way when in truth its not. For me, judgement is about making decisions, choices and now, every one that ever judged me, I now process my life, and get to judge it rightly, and how do I know I do that its right, because I have learnt and it brings peace and an end, which it doesn't go on and on without any solutions. Its never done to cause pain and suffering, but its done to end the pain and suffering. To have a good judgement, is important for peace and ending conflict, true judgement, its never about being critical or telling people what they can and can not do, that is immaturity. BTW I am empathetic, so when people are criticising people to me, I feel all the pain and suffering of the situation then I feel l it for the whole lot and it can be debilitating particularly when I have disabilities and can't be around it at all, because its awful then I want something done about it, because it affects health and is awful. So for me I became and learnt, gifted with perfect gifts of acceptance, and I also processed beyond measure rejection, and when rejection goes and it does, I am still left with how I was born, acceptance and understanding, along with peace.

Exactly said! People truely believe in judgements, but reality 80percent who judge u are living in false prestige! They are sure u are better than them so free of cost they can do is stamp u with their opinion. May be we realize late but these are the best life lessons for a person to change. It hurts but at same time we learn a, lot. Nice subject explained in simple way. 👋👋👋👋 Also if we are surrounded by such people we also start doing that. And better we understand it early .

Why people shout out their judgements... that's so rude ...We all have judgements by nature... but why can't they keep it to themselves instead of letting it out and hurting others...agree with the freedom of speech part but vomiting out everything that pops in mind is truly indecent...

I called out my narcissistic partner for his nastiness and bullshit that he has been doing for ages. This time I called out and gave it back promptly. He instantly shared this video with me and said see you are being judgemental. . I would appreciate it if you could clear this cloud and make another video over the same topic and make sure that Narcissists don't misunderstand/ misconstrue this topic of judgement.

Thank you Sridhar!! Your way of putting things in perspective really makes sense to me. It just helps deal with the same situation with a new perspective. So thanks. If I could ask your perspective in a complex MIL situation. I would be grateful if you could address in one of your upcomming videos. What to do if the MIL is all the time out to pull you down, always looking for opportunity. No matter how much you try to keep things positive trying to do everything right, treding cautiously. Some things are so bizzar ways that you feel helpless. Example, deleberately eating previous days leftovers in front of son and servants. Kind of implying that the DIL is not looking after as she should. It's such a covert attack. How caution can one be throughout the day? One it's causing shame. Two it's causing hurt. How look at this situation?

First of all people should understand the need for constructive criticism. If there is no such thing the criticism or judgement is useless. Next time if someone judges you for being frugal ask them if they can help with money. To summarise only listen to CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM

@@shirishpathak5193 I'll suggest first take some feedback. You can create like a google form or do it personally. Ask them about their experience. What they like about your leadership, what they think you can improve on. Always be in touch with people's feedback.
