I don't know about being bored, when I first found you I watched all your videos in 3 days. There's something about your character and voice that's just so pleasant to watch. I also picked up a lot of gardening tips and the motivation to garden from you. Looking forward to the more videos whenever they're out. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Hey, Mr. Donald. The roux, what was the brand? Would you recommend it? I've made gumbo several times before and the homemade roux never seemed to turn out right. I had no idea you could get it in a jar. thanks for the video and thanks for enlightening me.

@231MasseyFerguson8 жыл бұрын
+webcajun yeah u right but I went and got the ingredients before you had a chance to reply back. Been gone from the house a while and let it simmer for a couple hours. I put 4 heaping tablespoons of Savoie's, a touch of LA cayenne and garlic powder, and some salt along with Tony's (we only use Zatarains seasoning when boiling peanuts because we find it saltier than Tony's). Letting some water boil out then gonna add the shrimp shortly. We use LA seasoning for everything from boiling crawfish to whatever.
@231MasseyFerguson8 жыл бұрын
+webcajun it turned out delicious! Only thing I'll do different next time is use a little less roux and a little less salt. Man that Savoie's roux is some good stuff. We use it regular.
