I've experienced this! When I was 18 I was at a family reunion & just felt out of it, like I started to separate from reality. Later on that night I went to lay down & in my head I heard/thought "you're dying tonight". Then all the sudden I couldn't breathe, I felt out of my body, I couldn't understand myself or see myself, I was hysterical. I felt like I was in a dream or a fish bowl. It lasted for over an hour- the scariest thing that's happened to me. I'm 32 now, never been on meds or anything, it hasn't happened since. On a happier note, shrimp Alfredo is my favorite! I took Zoloft when I was 13, and all I really remember was being tired ALLL the time, could barely keep my eyes open in school and I had reallu violent dreams at night. I went through what you went through but mine lasted for a few months. It was dp/dr. (Depersonalization/derealization) you're lucky it was only that one time! Imagine feeling the way you felt and not recognizing yourself for 3 months. Also, I used to freak out too if I didn't have water near me.
