Shrink Wrapping and Labeling Bar Soap

Welcome to my channel!! Today I am showing you how I package and label my bars of soap using an impulse sealer and heat gun.

My Soap Ingredients:
Olive oil, sustainable palm oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, sweet almond oil, castor oil, Shea butter (sometimes canola oil), fragrance, kaolin, sodium lactate, organic coconut milk powder, mica, (sometimes titanium dioxide), (sometimes Eco glitter).

My handmade soap business is ran out of my home. I do have 4 children, 2 dogs, and a husband so sometimes you will hear them in the background. My soaping room is separate and no one (including the dogs!!) are allowed in there at anytime except for me. This is to ensure no one is harmed if there are any spills and we have locking gates up to ensure no one goes in there when I’m not looking. Safety and quality control are a top priority for me and my business.

I made these soaps about 7 weeks before shrink wrapping... the minimum cure time i have before wrapping is 5 weeks

I bought one as the other was used but as soon as I changed it out, it worked so much better so I would definitely change it out when you get one 😀

Is the wrap a stretchy material? As in can the customer just tear it off or would it require scissors?

It can be used, however, it will take a little longer to shrink wrap because they don’t get as hot
