Set a good example as a parent. Your kids are watching you. Some will learn from your example and others may have to learn the hard way by failing themselves. Each child is different. You just do the best you can and have patience :)

I sure wish I could sit down with you! My 34 yr old son has 4 children. He has full custody of the younger 2. He hasn't worked in a year. I am a retired school teacher in NC. All of my retirement money and SS go to support him and his children. I hear what you are saying, but I can't let the grandkids be hungry or homeless. It's just not that easy for me. 😢

He's Taking Advantage Of You. He Knows How To Manipulate You. If You're Supporting Those Children Financially, Then Go To Court And Get Custody. Let Your Son Be Homeless And Hungry.

OK now who agrees with me that we need a “Let Them” song? I do go around singing let them, let them, let them. Lol.😂 It helps me to not get aggravated with things outside of my control. So it’s let them then let me. ❤ Renée

Not a fan. Always turn the tables on Mel, she is saying, "we step over the line." She needs to rope people in. Mel needs to investigate herself. Mel you don't have a degree in psychology, anthropology, sociology, you have a law degree but were to scared. By all accounts I'm not impressed. I saw you get on the world stage before your youngest daughter released music and shame her. Mel smiled recounting avoiding her eldest daughter. What does Mel do for the world? Boston what does Mel do for the world?

So your rich so your kids have a trust or many trusts. So you should not give any advice.

Mel is trying to say what Terri Cole says as if she's a child. Mel ain't no expert. The experts who don't boast as Mel does, are way smarter and way more experienced. Mel is not fortified. No thanks. Wish I could say I'm proud of Mel. But no. Not.

but why do you people that are parents act as though you all are automatically a person your offspring can trust when you all have already repeatedly demonstrated and created problems that were not only unnecessary but also just kinda shrugged at the sexism, racism, abuse, rape, molestation, theft, making up rumors, and all kinds of devastating experiences that in my own personal experience I was not only blamed for but also all the Harvard grads and whomever and whatever place is considered as an expert type of higher authority were actually the very ones creating the issue. but the survivor is indeed being subjected to ongoing trauma within a place that supports and creates support to those of you that are cool with systemic abuse and blaming the survivor? I know I am not alone because I went to all the fancy smancy group therapy rehab bs and all they did was use me as a test rat for meds so some pharmaceutical co could increase their stock price so a bunch of abusive losers could whine about how tough it is to parent but its like you all did not actually parent....you outsourced problems, blamed the survivor and are wondering why the survivor neither trusts the parent or any person that has been abusive and created problems and then also throws in a bunch stuff about karma and God and being somehow chosen to be abused and then celebrated for speaking up. Please. LOOK TO THE REALITY THAT YOU PARENTS THAT DID NOT PARENT WELL DO NOT GET TO PRETEND THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE INVOLVED IN THE GOOD HEALTH HEALING PART OF YOUR CHILD"S LIFE WHEN YOU ALL WERE CONTRIBUTING TO AND CREATING AND SUSTAINING THE ACTUAL PROBLEM. Take the accountability and stop imposing onto a person that you already f'd up. we get it. you tried your best. but ya'll best is not even close to acceptable so forget about good enough. heal yourself. those of us that have been imposed upon don't trust those that abused and blamed and shamed us. we are ok. we just dont trust those of you that are untrustworthy. this is really that straightforward and clear. seriously. look at yourselfs. not at the kids ( no matter their age ) you wish were different to some how make you all feel good about yourselves. its truly counter productive for literally every individual involved.
