I am 66 yrs old. Before I started kindergarten, my mom made sure we (3 kids) knew our ABC’s, how to count from 1 to 100, tell time, tie our shoes, and our name, address and phone number. Parents just don’t seem to be the same these days.

My parents were both teachers. Grandma kept me till Kindergarten. I could do all the above, print my name, sing all the words Lift Every Voice and Sing, 4 hymns and quote 3 Scriptures. The only TV I was allowed to watch was Mickey Mouse Club, Sesame St. and Captain Kangaroo. Ahhh the good old days.😊😊

I work at an elementary school. One of our students came back to excited to show us what he was working on over the weekend: 3 pages of addition, subtraction, adding fractions, multiplication problems AND info on planets. He told us his dad wrote out the questions and he answered them by himself. We believe it bc he’s in a gifted program at school. He know all 300 sight words and reading on a 2nd grade level. His PARENTS help him everyday. No excuse people!! Oh and he’s 6yrs old…KINDERGARTEN!!!

I’ve been screaming about the paternity test part for years. It should be mandatory to verify and match the unborn baby with the alleged father’s DNA while the baby is in the womb. No exceptions.

Men love complaining about baby trapping like they don't purposely and boastfully knock women up to keep them around for financial and physical gains. My kids had library cards before 3 yrs old...we lived in the library... my daughter was 7 reading Harry Potter and they each got to pick a book for me to read at bedtime. You manifest a want and need for them to seek information to carry thru life.
