I'm currently living in Georgia. I tried......I really did. I asked my adult children and neighbors to vote. I did so on day 2 of early voting. I'm not sure as to "why" there has to be a runoff. I am a black woman living in Atlanta and what he is saying is that we are NOT prepared to go GREEN and have America be solely dependent on Electric cars and trains as the administration would like. Neither the US Grids nor the Planet are capable of electrically accommodating all vehicles plus homes for the entire US, UK Canada or world Populous. There would be MAJOR black outs for days/weeks or (until "they" feel like granting power again). Electricity would be rationed out to withstand the demand which would be absolute chaos. There aren't enough charging stations that could accommodate an hr charge for each vehicle. (Suppose youre running late for work.) People in apartment buildings would be SOL, assuming the complex even conveniently has a charging station onsite. And bets believe the tenants will pay an outstanding premium for THAT convenience. Not to mention "they" can literally shut off your entire vehicle at the push of a button and without your permission bc EVs are more vulnerable. In other words he is saying let's not bite off more than we the people can chew, just to appeaze the Elite folks that are financially invested in the green deal and wont ne affected one bit by the new inconveniences. No he's not well-spoken, but apparently that doesn't matter anymore ie. Fetterman (PA) and Biden (USA). So let's not judge this man so harshly.
