Yussss. I keep hoping they patch it lol Can tweak it a bit so it is no longer looking at powered dust. At least the the bug is only upon world load -.- but still haha Mojank would rather spend 1000s of work hours nerfing villagers, than fixing bugs X]

Thanks for the tutorial. I find my shulker is being broken and replaced everytime I log in (running Bedrock 1.21 on PC). Anyone else had this issue?

Glad you like!! But, Oh no!!! The observer is looking at a chunk boarder!!! Would be my guess. I should have mentioned that in the video!!! If an observer facing left/right is looking right at a chunk border, it will activate anytime you load the chunk. To fix without moving the whole thing; you can move the observer looking to the side, over 1 block & add a dust or repeater behind it so it still triggers that piston. Add a 2nd comparator coming out of the one that is there, going into a block like the 1st one was. Move the bottom redstone block+ observer with dust on top over by 1 block, and add another repeater at the very bottom. Hope that makes sense XD If not, you can join my discord and I can post a pic for you to reference! Before you do that though, i would double check where the chunk boarder is just to make sure that's why it's doing that!!! Can use chunkbase, or a resource pack, to see where chunk boarders are. Or!! Take a nearby coordinate, divide that by 16. Round down or up & multiply that number by 16. That is 1 chunk edge. Then subtract 1 to find the other chunk edge. So example x=162. 162/16 =10.1 Round down, so 10. 10x16 = 160. Then subtract 1, so between 160 and 159 is the chunk border.

@@OmLedu Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it's not related to a chunk border. I use FoxyNoTail's border resource pack to check borders. I've built the unloader in 3 different places and they are all doing the same thing. It's a vanilla survival world (achievements are still on) so I can't see it being any resource packs affecting it. Maybe it's a new bug in 1.21 with observers?

Every time I log out and get back on the world it destroys one shulker full or not full doesnt matter

It is a bug in 1.21! >.< There is a bug report for it posted, so they should fix it at some point T.T

@@florijanasani405 Nice. Yeah the bug is slightly annoying, observers activating upon world load. But at least they tend to hotfix those fairly quickly, or least at some point lolzz

Yessss that it do! :D a non-stackable basically equals 64 of a stackable in regards to signal strength. So as long as the shulker is full, it will break :DD

Yeah, I built an allay sorter for a raid farm. I get way too many totems and enchanted books from it!

I'm sure you know from the other comments. Observers activate on relog when it is looking at powered dust (also apply to a few other blocks, I think powered bells do that as well). Causing the box to break. This have existed since forever, but the way people go around this to read from the hopper inputting items into the box, when that reaches signal strength (ss) 2, break the box and lock the input so it drops back to ss1. You probably found that setup through KZbin, but there's mostly outdated tech there so that layout is not reliable. I will put a newer design on the reply to this comment. Hope this helps

Powered rails aren't affected by the bug luckily. Keep hoping they will fix it lolol But mojank is slow to fix things that need it lolol Bug hasn't been around for a super long time though & should hopefully be fixed at some point lolol

No, but you can make it so by switching out the item sorter for one that uses 3 dust instead of 2. As long as it has empty shulkers stocked it shouldn't ever overflow. Uh oh!! Let's see! We can def fix it depending on what's wrong :D So when the shulker is totally full (27 full stacks of 64) the piston doesn't activate? Is the comparator facing with the 2 lights toward the piston & the 1 light away? & are you on java or bedrock?

@OmLedu I'm on bedrock I believe I've got it figured out I'm in the middle of testing them believe I may have destroyed the solid block behind the observer I belive I accidentally broke it while test it but built it again following your video an it worked first time diving into shulker loading/unloading mechanics.sorry bout the Preemptive not workin comment
