Pulled the trigger last week and upgraded my original GLXD16 (which always had issues - really made me miss my L6 G50), to the GLXD16+ with 3 transmitters. Played a festival gig last night.... and WOW! Major upgrade. No issues what so ever, even at 50+ feet away.

I just bought 2 of the rackmount systems the other day! They are fantastic! They connect really easily, they search automatically for backup channels they can switch to on the fly, and the battery life and charging capabilities are fantastic. Highly recommend!

I use the first gen GLX-D guitar system. Been using it for about a year in a crowded RF venue with 8 Shure IEM packs and 4-5 handhelds. We also use multiple ipads/iphones to control our IEMs. I have never had a dropout. I'm really curious to see how the D+ works out. I'm sure it'll be even better.

Glad to hear this, Ben! Thanks for sharing. Yuri (guy from the video) is a smart and sincere guy - If he's this excited about it, I'm excited about it!

To whom it may concern. On Saturday I bought the Shure Beta 87A GLXD+4 Wireless Super cardioid Condenser microphone. My stupid question is if it is a condenser, do I need to turn on the phantom power on my mixer or does the Receiver come with the phantom power? Excuse my stupid question but I am new to wireless.

Hey there, great video! I was wondering if you can use the Shure Frequency Manager with 3rd party products? I have 2 GLXD+ systems, was going to try to use the manager to provide signal for the 2 GLXD+ units, a 2.4-5.8ghz Bluetooth Router, a 2.4-5.8ghz Bluetooth Audio Receiver, and maybe an IEM or two and was wondering if I can do all of that with the Frequency Manager+ since all the products work on the same frequency or if the Shure Frequency Manager only provides signal to Shure wireless devices

I have two GLX-D 16 (old ones) at stage (I play both, electric guitar and bass, during a show)... Normaly not too far, not more than 33 feet long... But, nowadays I'm suffering with interference that mute the sound depending on what direction I move. Do you have some sugestion? Thank you. I'ts a real nice product. Another detail: Me and the other singer, both use wireless mics, one from sennheiser and other from audio technica.

I’d recommend checking to make sure your wireless system is operating on a different frequency from your bandmate’s wireless system. That’s when problems tend to occur.

Like Yuri said in the video, these are best for use within 100 feet or so between transmitter and receiver. Still a pretty long distance!

Don't these run on the WiFi spectrum and isn't that not really that great?

@@DarkTrapStudio so doesn't that mean that this wireless system wouldn't be a good buy as it's running on a congested network/frequency?

These have dual band functionality, so there is more frequency space than a typical 2.4 GHz device.
