Oh my! That was breathtaking. Besides Lindsey, haven't heard anyone pull this off so perfect & gracefully. Believe it or not, I actually witnessed Stevie & Lindsey playing this and I say it like that b/c it was truly a unique experience to witness.

Another great instructional video. You always pick great songs and you absolutely nail them. I hope this finds you doing well. I know your having some serious health issues. I'm hoping your on the mend and will soon be back to do what you are meant to do. Teach the world to play these awesome songs!! Prayers for you Andy!

I am in tears. Definetly pulls on the heart. I wanted to comment also that F#, like the green Pastorals in Baroque and Classical music, was compared to green (both the F and the F#). So i think it's the right key for letting-go. To "Say Goodbye." It is like moving away to somewhere else and dealing with and accepting the losses that come with it. To play this in an actual F# one must tune their guitar down by one whole step (two frets). (However, i suspect the strings might be tuned to a different tuning altogether?) A link is provided to his actual tutorial for this piece. More than anything, i wanted to commend "Shut-up-N-Play" for staying true to the original key of F#. Shows true sensetivity to the music and it's actual message. There are a lot of hacks out there in KZbin-land (like Adam Neely and Rick Beato) who work off of a distorted view about what music really is. We must let go of the Ego to find the Truth.

I've loved this song since the first time I heard it (Sound Stage live version). For some reason the guitar makes me think of the early 1970's when I was just a toddler. Can't think why as he wrote it in '87 but something about it takes me to that time.

So you face yesterday Thinking on the days of old And the price that we paid For a love we couldn't hold I let you slip away There was nothing I could do That was so long ago, yeah Still I often think of you I fall down, I get up And I've always had to fight Everything that was wrong For the things that were right And now I've finally found my way Now I know just what to do Once you said goodbye to me, yeah Now I say goodbye to you It's so hard to find your way When the lies come around Still it happens every day So don't let it get you down Just a time within a time Just a scheme within a scheme A little world within a world Is a dream just a dream? And now I've finally found my way Now I know just what to do Once you said goodbye to me, yeah Now I say goodbye to you Now I'd best be on my way Before the night turns blue Once you said goodbye to me, yeah And now I say goodbye to you Once you said goodbye to me, yeah Now I say goodbye to you
