Good review, however, I would like to add that Sandeep clearly mentioned in a Telugu interview that he wanted to showcase that Arjun reddy and Kabir Singh will lose their girlfriend because of their arrogance behaviour. However, he was insisted to change the narrative to please the audience who want to see happy ending and he didn’t want to risk his 15 year long dream of becoming a director for that particular scene, so he put a song explaining her pain and changing the climax. A problem I see in mainstream Indian movies is that they don't utilise the beauty of subtext. Everything has to be present in an explicit manner and in most cases with excessive masala. People believe that the characters must give a long monlogue about the essence of the movie to give it a meaning. So, in a sense the audience takes art in a literal sense which degrades the art itself. It's a new thing for the audience to understand the subtext, the nuances of the characters and the intricate layers of symbolism in movies.

Just saw this movie yesterday.. I am a 40 year old woman and an avid Bollywood enthusiast, I can say that this is neither.. neither a misogynistic movie nor piece of amazing cinema.. it was an above average movie with some very good scenes, good acting and some below average long drawn filler moments that were not necessary. Overall the film worked more on hype than anything else. In my view, the director did a half ass job working with the editor.. Ranbir Kapoor was good in some scenes and Ok in most.. Anil Kapoor didn’t have much to do.. Bobby deol didn’t have much to do.. but in his 5 minutes, and no dialogues, he did better than most others. Overall a 7/10 movie. For reference, in comparison to this movie, Kabir Sigh was an 8/10… Pathan, Tiger 3 etc were 5-6/10… 5-6 bhi music n SRK/SK k stardom ki respect k liye varna unko hatado to movie mein kuch bhi nahi tha..

This movie might have better if it was never an action movie. Simply have a plot for Father being obsessed with business and money. Son being obsessed in getting his father approval. The plot being father bring diagnosed with terminal cancer that he doesn't have any cure. Ranbir being so obsessed with saving his father that he sacrifices all he has and at the end he doesn't have anything with him. Problem is that most directors think that only action movie will pull audiences. If that was the case then people won't have came to the cinema to see Oppenheimer.

Nope i disagree there is alot of subtlety in the film that alot of people missed out on. People watched it on a superficial level. Like rediculous police not being there in the film. I mean its established in a very subtle way that he took care of the police. By disposing bodies during jija scenes. Or the hotel attack seen as an act of self defence. They only got triggered by two or three things. In the comtext of the film everything fits well

The beauty of cinema is that it doesn't have to be realistic. It cannot happen in real life that's why we do it in cinema. One great example is Kill Bill Volume 1 where the protagonist kills hundreds of trained hitmen with just a goddamn sword after getting up from a perennial coma. Definitely not realistic, but a lot of fun. Animal fits kind of the same vibe for me. Yes there are superfluous scenes and arcs that could've been avoided but overall it was a good watch.

Initially, the director showed Ranbir's tears as a result of the fact that he did everything for his father but was never praised by him, and by the fact that his father would ultimately die of a disease. Hence, he has no purpose in life, Having cheated on his spouse, he lost his wife and children, he wanted to be the best father and set an example. In my opinion, the director knew and wanted to make part 2 of the film, so he ended the film where the protagonist had lost everything which made him cry in the end.

​@@rijfdtry to study in 2hr time slots each...take a 5-10 min break after every 2 hr....plan your current day the previous night before you sleep...decide what all things you gonna study in those time slots....initially it will be difficult to sit for even 30 min at a stretch but will regular practise it will happen...u can easily study for 14-16 hrs....sleep for 6hrs...breakfast lunch dinner 30 min each....i sometimes sleep for 5hr 30 min....works fine for me....even 14 hr study is good ....quality matters more than quantity....try the eight or seven sessions in a day as i mentioned for 2 hr each and you are good to go!

I think shwetabh Bhai you missed subtle details in the film regarding the film. Will give you some pointers. The first jija wala shootout heppens in his own hotel. So basically he has the control over the security and hotel. And also he disposes off the bodies. So basically no evidence. So police cant be involved. Uski sister bolti toh hai ki uska husband disappear hai. Toh he says ki uski body vgera dispose kr di hai. Dusra jo college wala kaand hota hai. Woh uska apna college hota hai. Thats why his father says ki agar mene strings pull nhi koye hote toh tu abhi jail m hota. Or jo interval block se phle ka action hai. Woh bhi hotel uske baap ka hota hai. So its established ki woh uske assassination k liye aaye hai. Toh he kils them in self defense with his security Aka his cousins. Point was nothing could be tied to him. So isliye nhin dikhaya. There are subtle details. On top of that police already knew ki uske baap pr already ek assassination attempt hua hai. Toh bete pr bhi hoga. So it was very subtle way of saying ki nothing could be tied to him. Bus mujhe interval scene m masala laga fight sequence. Woh thoda cringey tha. Director usually background m chalata hai songs. But still it was cringey. But usne subtle way m police vgera ka cover kiya hai. Ki kyu law usko frame nhi kr paa raha. Obviously uske connections honge UK m. Toh gya hoga guns lekr. Pr usne base rakha hai with reasoning. I disagree with the police part shwetabh bhai. I liked the film. Finally ek esi mainstream film aayi jisme bina faltu ki over the tip dialoguebaazi nhin hai. Or na he slow-motion vgera hai. Or Acting bhi thik thi. Story below average thi. But I understand ki stpry character ko cater kr rahi hai character story ko nhi. I enjoyed it. The only gripe I had with it was Bobby ko underutilise kiya hai. Or ye child abuse pr nhi hai story. Child negligence pr hai. People confusing it with abusive childhood. Acha screen play hai film ka. I actually liked second half better. Because it got very realistic there.

Good review, however, I would like to add that Sandeep clearly mentioned in a Telugu interview that he wanted to showcase that Arjun reddy and Kabir Singh will lose their girlfriend because of their arrogance behaviour. However, he was insisted to change the narrative to please the audience who want to see happy ending and he didn’t want to risk his 15 year long dream of becoming a director for that particular scene, so he put a song explaining her pain and changing the climax. Overall, Good review.
