I bought the 50 because it has niacinamide and I'm from mumbai so it's humid throughout. I use the one thing centella gel as my moisturizer+ slight antioxidant underneath it and it has been absolutely delightful.

Loved spf 60 it’s been 2 months using it, it pills if I immediately apply on the moisturizer , trick is to wait and apply after 5-10 minutes then it doesn’t pill. The best part is no breakouts and it’s my holy grail sunscreen. But I’m not sure how to reapply over makeup

Surprisingly, it's the opposite for me. This pilled while I applied on dry skin but not on moisturized skin.

I already got the SPF 60 after watching your previous review! It actually reminds me of the korean sunscreen...so lightweight, moisturizing and no white cast! I was worried it will peel as I apply a lot of moisture and facial oil etc but it didn't peel at all! LOVED it!

This sunscreen peeled for me when I applied it on dry skin/light weight moisturizer (including minimalist's own sepicalm moisturizer). However, I didn't have any peeling at all when I used it over a very thick moisturizer (the bioderma one). So surprisingly, more oil and hydration content the less peeling.

Mmm i dont use sunscreen but what u have to do u can use any kind of but not pure Aloe vera gel before taking shower n wash with facewash it will help to get rid off darkspots n tanning 2 u can use science of him facewash for acne n exfoliating but i use twice in a week exfoliating 3 u can use aloe vera gel for protecting tanning But i dont like sunscreen so many chemicals but its ur choice

I know everyone says 'to be on the safe side', avoid all retinoids but from what I have researched, topical retinoids with low percentages as in serums don't get absorbed to bloodstream, but rather go directly to skin cells. Vitamin A is an essential nutrient for normal fetal development and there are more fetal malformations from its deficiency than otherwise. Oral high dose retinoids can be hazardous but low percentage topical retinoids are barely a hazard during pregnancy as far as I have learnt. We definitely consume more vit A than this from our food on a daily basis even during pregnancy. The brand of course has to not promote it as pregnancy safe since that is the commonly understood statement regarding retinoids. But I think some brands and specialists outside India have begun rethinking about it. Am loving this sunscreen, been using the SPF 50 since launch now Thanks for the comparison. 😊

Thank you and I was told that synthetic vit a like accutane etc can at times result in miscarriage during my ivf and not to risk it. So unless enough research is done it’s better to stay safe . Glad you’re enjoying the sunscreen 🥰

Hey Shweta, Such an influencer dear girl!.... Love your inputs... Always! Even though, skincare and haircare is subjective, yet seeking your opinion since I trust your experience and in depth research and knowledge. Wat would be close to ideal scenario for a skin that is sensitive acne prone combination living in humid Mumbai weather (considering that der is a mild winter setting in as of now) A Bulgarian Rose toner followed by EITHER Vaunt Barrier Boost OR Pure Bubbles BHA Serum and Clarity Lotion followed by a sunscreen that would react minimally be it Minimalist spf 50 or spf 60 or any of your other favourites that would work well with these actives in the serum or moisturizers and not react or cause break out.... U know there is always that apprehension due to the skin sensitivity and given that am no expert at layering the actives and formulas.Will really appreciate your inputs. In case you advise changing any of the steps from cleansing to toning to moisturising, plz feel free to advise. Thanks Best Regards Retika

I’m using the earth rhythm’s spf 50 sunscreen which comes in the yellow glass bottle with pump. I love it a lot. Even though i have combination skin, i love using it during summers as well because of how hydrating it is. But now my cousin got the same sunscreen with their new packaging and there’s a lot of glitter particles in it. And i have read such comments on their posts as well on Instagram. So I won’t be getting it and since a few days i’ve been searching for a good sunscreen that is not too drying or too oily. I think now i’ll get the minimalist one. If earth rhythm brings their old formulation back then i’ll definitely get back to it in the future. Also, I have combination, sensitive, acne prone skin. Hope this helps :)

Hands down the minimalist one. Earth rhythm give you too much shine and I think people confuse it with dewy finish. But it's not dewy nor glow. It's straight up shine (not oily). It's like applying a thick layer of pure aloevera gel.also it has a strong chemical smell. I don't know why people rave so much about it.
