@mav3ric1004 жыл бұрын
@@abigailpeoples6705 I don't think it's about shyness. Hers is probably an issue with experience doing this specific thing. People can be their confident and outspoken selves elsewhere in familiarity or places they work and are leaders. But that changes in unfamiliar settings unless they have no filters/rough around the edges. So yes you can be confident and display introvert characteristics depending on setting, and also confident doesn't mean extrovert. There's plenty of low self-esteem extroverts.

This is true. It's starts with eye contact, and then a smile. I was in restaurant today, and there was a man standing there to pick up his order, when I entered he looked at me, and I looked at him as well, then I smiled and he did too and say hi. And I the end he offered to pay for me. I was so surprised. It was the first time, someone did that to me. I was so grateful for his kindness, cuz he didn't have to do that. Put a smile on my face 😁

He was also my age, so it was weird to treat him like I'm a student and I literally started a conversation out of nowhere telling him "how nice the beach looks today" while trying to surf a wave, and at first he was quite but then the conversation started flowing out of nowhere. And I swear I never hit on boys and he was one of those people that are too intimidating to talk to but somehow I did even tho I considered myself someone really shy and most of the times insecure, I guess cause I'm just 19 years old. I hope this helps for the people that is afraid of meeting new people, don't be afraid of yourself, you know you can be awesome so please don't be so hard on yourself! Ps.: If you wanna know how it continued; he gave me his IG and he ended up being a part time MODEL! I swear I would never talk to him if I saw the pictures that they took of him, I would've been like 'Nah, he is out of my league' but I literally talk to him and he was the sweetest guy ever.
