Whenever Sia's voice breaks, I got goosebumps. Not because it sounds bad but she sounds so awesome and when her voice breaks, I can feel her humanity fully. That sounds very deep but that's absolutely what I feel.

It was romoured that Sia used the fact of covering her face as an excuse for doing playback. But when you see her performances live, perfomances like this, and you notice that unique, single moments when her voice breaks and changes because she's actually feeling what she's singing, the lyrics she wrote herself, it's obvious that she's not doing any kind of playback. In fact, she's singing live better than 90% of pop singers today with her face covered than another pop stars, like Rihanna or Katy Perry who actually do playback with their faces discovered, It's pretty sad when you think about it, how much appeareance matters in the pop industry and how controversial can be a singer just for do her thing...and sing.

My mother and I have a pretty unbalanced relationship and when I thought of my mother during the dance, at the end, I was wishing we could reconcile like this. I simply just don't reply to much of anything online, but I feel this more than important enough to say to you, Caleb, and anyone else who happens across these words: Do it. Eat the crap sandwich and forget saving any face. Call them right now and apologize for whatever might have happened, tell them how much you love them. You don't have to admit being wrong, but let them know that whatever the conflict is, it's not enough to destroy the bond that you should always have as family or friends. With a story too long to delve into here, know that I mean it when I say you WILL regret not taking the time to do it when you have the chance. Imagine how much these very same lyrics will sting when you hear them after it's too late. Cherish is to treasure, and treasure should always be kept safe. Truly cherish all the time that you have with them and let them know that you do appreciate it. Always.

She, on the other hand, should apologise for writing for the biggest asshole in the industry (that eminem if you're still wondering), pretend to be sorry for doing so, and then does it again. Thats a lack of self respect Sia. How could you, after all he says about women and gay ppl? I still love you though Sia.
@arod236410 жыл бұрын
I think that's possibly why they put a woman during this performance, so people can understand the concept of this song and not think of it as pedophilia. She apologized because at the end of the day, that's the mature thing to do since some people were offended by it for whatever reason. People go through different things in life to trigger them in certain ways. I applaud her for handling the situation in the way that she did.

i dont particularly like pop music, but i do with Sia. That 1000 forms of fear album is really deep and shows that pop music can be made out of nightmares, and inner dark matter, which amazes me even to this date, 3 yrs after the release. i also think her live tv appearances have a theatrical quality that deepens the heaviness of her lyrics. Once Morrisey said that his trick with the smiths was to contrast bright and light melodies with heavy emotional content in their lyrics. I think Sia can do the same and i actually think her lyrics have more of a hellish kind of quality. Good for her, shes a real artist

I remember watching this live, January 17th 2015. First episode off Holiday Hiatus. Favorite sketch was the James Brown one. I remember thinking this dance was super fucking weird. Then right at the end, the older dancer dropped to her knees and started sobbing before reconciling with the younger one. The beauty and passion hit me all at once. Now it just gets better with every viewing. I only found out tonight that the older dancer is from right here in Nebraska. Omaha, 80 miles down the road. Fills me with pride and hope for a future of moving the masses with performance. I'm not this huge Sia fan with all of the albums, but I still fell love and now deeply admire her amazing gift. She's a LIVE singer, and that's a rarity in the mainstream these days.

And another one bites the dust But why can I not conquer love? And I might've got to be with one Why not fight this war without weapons? And I want it and I wanted it bad But there were so many red flags Now another one bites the dust And let's be clear, I trust no one You did not break me I'm still fighting for peace Well I've got thick skin and an elastic heart But your blade it might be too sharp I'm like a rubber band until you pull too hard But I may snap when I move close But you won't see me fall apart 'Cause I've got an elastic heart I've got an elastic heart Yeah, I've got an elastic heart And I will stay up through the night Let's be clear, I won't close my eyes And I know that I can survive I walked through fire to save my life And I want it, I want my life so bad And I'm doing everything I can Then another one bites the dust It's hard to lose a chosen one You did not break me (You did not break me, no, no) I'm still fighting for peace Well I've got thick skin and an elastic heart But your blade it might be too sharp I'm like a rubber band until you pull too hard But I may snap when I move close But you won't see me fall apart 'Cause I've got an elastic heart Well I've got thick skin and an elastic heart But your blade it might be too sharp I'm like a rubber band until you pull too hard But I may snap when I move close But you won't see me fall apart 'Cause I've got an elastic heart Well I've got thick skin and an elastic heart But your blade it might be too sharp I'm like a rubber band until you pull too hard But I may snap when I move close But you won't see me fall apart 'Cause I've got an elastic heart

Men hold most pedophilia history and no matter how sad it is its true... I lf this doesnt anything I wish the world doesn't have to be on high alert of this shut anymore, it happens too much. That video was beautiful, people going through this shit and feeling like they are looking at something they have been through should not be ignored. It wasnt the video, its the damaged oppression too many people go through becauee they have experienced it and no one knows how it feel or what its like to go through something like that... Both situations make me cry because we all know of someone who has experienced mental health problems and a victim of sexual molestation. I hope we can create a world where people can look at art like this and not think of some awful shit they have been through.
