As someone who works at an Animal Shelter, I cannot describe how emotional this song makes me. It breaks my heart every time someone surrenders their old dog. Sometimes they aren’t even that old, but because they aren’t a tiny puppy anymore they are deemed too old. I want to blast thing song through my shelter every holiday season! PUPPIES ARE FOREVER! Is anyone not gonna mention how great this song is because it’s such an important message puppies are forever, well forever *by a good 12-15 years and if you can’t dedicate that love, time, care etc then you shouldn’t be having one dogs are a joy and a privilege not just a “gift” you give someone use once and then that’s it never by a dog just because it’s cute as a puppy or it looks cool their living beings that experience a wide range of emotions and therefore experience the pain, sadness and heart break we feel when their abandoned so please don’t go breaking their hearts they’re worth more then that and deserve so much more than that!!
