Sick Baby ║ Hang Out with This Homeschool Mom of 9 │ School Week 15

In this video, Miss Hannah was a sick baby girl! (She, of course, is all better by now since this was almost 4 months ago.) Everyone pitched to soothe and comfort her while she was ill. This week was also Sophia's birthday (shown in another video.) Sophia began learning how to sew with the sewing kit she got for her birthday. Eden was continuing to knit her scarf - a project she was finding frustrating this week, but she's really got the hang of it by now. The kids made some herbal teas and tinctures and I made some tea to help sick baby Hannah. Judah sculpted a little figurine. We had fun weighing and measuring things. The kids decided to weigh themselves. We were surprised to learn Justus is as big as Asher and Judah! They better watch out! :)

Literally, best. Mom. Ever!! 💝 these kids are so lucky to have her as a Mother and just as lucky to have these videos to look back on! Truly, a gift!! So many memories, so many lessons, so much love and patience! 💝 I’m going to make this tea mixture for my grandbabies for when they’re sick and call it “Andreas better baby tea” 💝🥰 So grateful for this woman and her videos, we should all take note on the love, guidance and patience she has with her children. I hope they all find strength and comfort in these videos for many years to come, so glad they can keep her memory alive and feel her love when they watch them and that she can continue to touch more people. My kids are grown and I will sit and watch these videos of the kids learning, eating, playing, whatever and I think it’s because I can feel the love she has for her children through the lens of her camera. She watched them and followed them with such pride and love and you can feel it. Plus each of the kids are so so cute! 🤗 I will continue to come back often for her tips, recipes, and maybe just the feeing of family comfort 💝 I know her spirit is with her family and still guiding them and loving them from the other side. What an amazing mother, it makes me so sad watching the video's again, since Andrea has passed away. I used to love watching the videoss because they were real and not staged, or silly fake pranks. Which all the youtubers do nowadays. I pray that shes at peace, and may God continue to watch over her precious babies, also to give Tom the strength to carry on and continue being the amazing father he is. My mum was 52 years old, when she passed away from cancer. The pain never really goes away, it's the same as the day they left us, but you just learn to live with it. Lots of love to you all. xxx

The theme through all of this seems to be: persevere, and things will get better. What a great lesson for a child to learn for himself. Grandma Fern's story made me look up that pbs documentary about the Blizzard of '49, what an experience! So many good things going on in one little house in the middle of winter, couldn't love it more!!!

This is our last month of homeschooling until summer, and I am counting down the days as much as my kiddo. I'm glad you reminded me about the ACE curriculum being a homeschool option. It has been a huge help. I am glad that Hannah is feeling better. Sick babies and kids are never fun.

My sister had a rocking chair (shes deceased now) that she rocked all her grandbabies in. Her husband put a gold plate on the back of it and engraved the name of each grandchild rocked in it. You need to do the same with the little school table your children are being taught at...its very soecial.😊

This is the most phenomenal way to homeschool children!! These kids got to have an adventure every day with their mother!!!! I wish I would have had someone in my life like Andrea 30+ years ago when I started having babies!! That part where Claudia was doing her "school work" she looked up at the camera and smiled, and I could so see your grandma Fern in her little face. I am guessing that if y'all have any pictures of Fern when she was little she would have looked just like Claudia. I am also guessing that Justus is heavier than Asher and Judah because even though those two are taller, he is more solid. How much fun will it be to see if Justus stretches out to get taller. Has he in the last four months since the video was filmed?

Eden. Keep up with the knitting. I started knitting “scarves” when I was about 6....more holes than scarf. I have knitted both children’s clothes from birth. I knit and crochet everything I can get my hands on, all self taught. Have just completed a large box of beanies for the homeless people. Keep it up Eden, lots of patience will pay off.
