Two things: 1) that breezer looks awesome with a suspension fork 2) that bar bag on your friends flat bar bike looks way better that I thought a bar bag on a flat bar bike would look.

I also turned my Thunder into a hardtail this weekend! I put a 140 mm Fox 34 on the front and it rides super nice 👍. Glad to see you're tinkering away too!

Hey Eric. In Niagara Region, the price of gas is almost 2.00 a litre. And I'm starting to see a lot of people either walking, taking the bus and, you guess it; riding their old Super Cycle, Huffy and (gawd) Infinity Cosco bikes to work. Now if we can put parts in bike shops in Ontario. There will be no excuse to not ride a bike....

I recently bought a mullet hardtail frame (orange crush mx) I'm planning to set up with a 27.5" front wheel and a 160mm fork, I'd be interested to know how you find the change in bb height with a smaller wheel as I am worried that mine will be very low!

Do you think it would at all be possible to turn a fixed gear (State's core line type) into a light gravel 1x10 type bike. Given all the constraints? gravel bikes in Brazil are now prohibitively expensive right now

1x10 is gonna be tough. Your best bet is probably like a 7 speed freewheel hub with 126 spacing with friction shifting.

Fixation sells a kit for $300 with a new wheel and all the drivetrain stuff in the form of a modified 6 speed, you could probably hack together your own version of the kit or use a similar version of that idea

It if's going to be a 29er you should get wider rims cause those stock rims are narrow for those 2.6s and don't get ya the full grip.

I've read so many posts about chains and single speed\fixed gear and they are always negative towards half link. But now I've seen in a couple of your vlogs where you've mixed in half links to get the correct tension. Freakin' genius! Or did I misunderstand?

500 mm. I took mine off this weekend too. If Eric isn't interested in selling, I would. Not going to sugar coat it tho. That fork isn't light. The Thunder lost ~3 lb going to an air shock fork

do you now how hard it is to find a reasonably priced full rigid single speed mountain bike. I had to order one from bikesdirect. I wanted to make sure I was goign to get back into biking after a 10 year hiatus and didn't want to break the bank in case it was a pipe dream. Now a few months later and I'm thinking I want to upgrade from the good but cheapish biek I bought, but finding a quality full rigid steel single speed is still stupid hard. Even geared full rigids are scarce, where'd you get this? and most importantle how much to get it in Canada?
