❤❤❤❤❤ we need ethical leaders. Leaders that with good morals that implement them! We need to limit the length of service of Supreme Court Justices. We need schools to preach these good ethics, and include courses on ethical family planning (to avoid the cycle of poverty, emotional and physical abuse, etc), and excellent communication skills. There is so much to restructure.

I agree with Yvette's assessment of you, Amanda. One of the things that drew me to you, years ago, was your authenticity and softness. I could see the plight of most Black women in you (myself included). Caring and helpful women inaccurately labeled aggressive or mean simply because we're passionate. The world is hell bent on misunderstanding us. Just know real people and real humans see your heart and intentions. I think we all need(ed) the right space and community to feel safe so we can truly lean into our softness. We need(ed) to feel seen and protected.

Having integrity is ultra important. Boundaries are very important. And, no , bullies and narcissists don't deserve the ability to trample on boundaries. Being able to protect your boundaries in a civil manner is very necessary. We need more people with Ms. Brown's mentality. She was raised right! I enjoyed watching this conversation. Also, I agree with their stances on voting! All people need to vote! Again, excellent conversation!

I had the same thoughts as Ms. Yvette around 31:16 when watching the immigrants in NY being housed in a school recently n how angry some were. Another example of how hard it is for others to just "care about each other.. even sacrificially." And i agree, please take me tax dollars but use them for what they're meant for

I always enjoy conversations about kindness. Although I think it could have been less about politics. lol. You can understand how civil government works but understanding policies, and how politics work is another level. I’m not sure if people in Hollywood truly grasp that. That’s why I’ve always had respect for Amanda Seals, she knows a little more than the average Hollywood people . I will say this..Kamala is a joke, but I liked how Amanda articulated her response. Very diplomatic…nicely done. It was tactful, and I enjoyed listening to it.😂 Overall great conversation! I think we need this reminder of continuing to be kind to others. We may not always agree…but we can and should kill it with kindness .

I'm a little confused, at the beginning of the podcast it was said around the 8 minute mark you're telling ppl to run if they're a decent person and you care, you don't care what they run for, just run, but you dismiss Dr. Cornel West as a candidate for President because he doesn't have a political background? It's not like he's a virgin to politics, so what is the real beef against him running?

Hey Amanda, aka Deonne, I’m going to check out your radio show too. Normally I have a program that I listen to on 107.5 on Sunday mornings so hearing a new radio show out of nowhere caught me off guard and had me looking for the show I normally hear. But, I gotta give your show a listen and I think I’ll do that next Sunday. Always respected your talent since back when so it’s only right I tune in to this new show, because it has to be good if 107.5 picked it up!!

00:30:00 speaking in legislatures that don’t care about people, as a fellow clevelander look at what the state legislature just did with trans kids’ rights vs recreational cannabis. .1% of the population is trans in this state and the state legislature came back just to override a governor’s veto of a bill that bans trans youth in sports, bans gender affirming care, and a host of other anti-trans articles. Meanwhile, THE VOTERS in our state passed recreational cannabis in a landslide - something that would allow a mimaw on chemo that can’t use a computer to get her medical card access to harm reduction treatment. Something that would render sections of the population that participate in benign coping mechanisms or recreational activities to not be caught in a targeted system of incarceration for trying not to be so stuck in the created reality of that very system. What an atrocity that we elect people like Gym Jordan but reject candidates like Nina Turner. We need free therapy on every block ong
