I have been thinking about this the past few days because its disappointing to see older family members who have not emotionally matured. Its hard when you have to deal with them but its a great reminder that I do not want to be 70+ years old, and still causing harm to people around me because I cant get MY shit together.

“Maturity is making decisions based on what you know, not just on what you feel.” That’s the bar right there.

I love how this episode feels alot like the extended moments of mirror honesty thats portrayed in Insecure. It is refreshing to have a cant stop wont stop voice in these truth seeking streets. Really enjoy the content.

Another side effect of maturity is not letting people turn you on and off like a light switch. Don't internalize people's harsh words.

Amanda, you might hear this a lot but you have a way of putting things into words to make a person understand something they’ve always known but couldn’t conceptialize. It impresses me all the time on different topics you talk about. I enjoy your content so much!

“Aligning yourself with elevation” 19:58 ‼️‼️ I think healing the inner child, listening to higher power, and to have trust boils down to us realizing the power of our intuition. When we can put our ego aside, have that healthy self awareness (which also might have to come from shedding folks)…maturing is also realizing to look within for the affirmations we’ve sought externally. You hittin the nail on the head with this one ms. Seales ✊✊✊✊

Maturing is the ability to access what’s best for you and what’s not. You learn yourself through growing. Also having breakthroughs are essential to maturity. Trauma are breaks that never healed through breakthroughs. You have let go to grow and so many cannot.

You are always on point with the message for the people! I get the sense that maturity is essentially evolving. It’s not a rigid thing itself (not something you just become), but it can be rigid when our environment/circle is not evolving with us and we have to make decisions to set boundaries that we’ve never set before.

This truly resonated with me Queen. Love your consistent evolution into your higher self and self awareness. You truly are one of the ones who know they have wings and have learned what to do with them. Can’t wait to meet and learn from you even more some day! Peace and wellness on your continued journey. 💜🌞🦋✨😇

Thank you Amanda! I love this video & as a 23 year old, this is something to keep in mind as I physically grow & malleable emotional intelligence as I age. I always thought in order to mature, you have to start a healthy practice with consistency to SEE results over time, like physically exercising. The brain is able to make CONNECTIONS as long as are able to live.

I wish I could like this I don’t know how many times. I argued with you , by myself 😂, a few times re a ‘higher being’ mostly but we still got back to the same point of view re maturity. By the end, after the viewer questions, I think this is one of the best episodes I’ve watched. More power to you sis 👊🏾👊🏾. And I’m rocking my scarf. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
