Thank you for sharing this! I just bought the same switch to install and was pleasantly surprised you were also installing on a vette! I'm the opposite here in the desert and park her all summer long because it's too hot to drive here without AC and the analog clock and "alarm" system constantly drain the battery if I'm not driving her every week. Thank you for posting!

This was the answer to my prayers . I just purchased this one because my C4 corvette came with a knife style cut off switch like yours on the video. I was so uncertain onto how this needed to be installed , for my installation instruction’s that came with mines weren’t leading me anywhere. The other choice I had for a cut off switch is the one with the green cap that you just Simply turn

So not bad for a disconnect for storing long term but not feasible for daily security? If you did that, your clock, radio settings and alarm system would be worthless.

Thankfully the 73 doesn't have much to worry there. No working clock or radio with settings, it does have an alarm though 😂
