And using steel dollies and steel L arms on a manual wheel lift works just fine too, Doesn't mean wrecker guys want to throw out their new aluminum dollies and auto-loading wheel lifts, Just because something works doesn't mean there aren't better and easier alternatives, I too have never had a situation where my bed and snatch block wouldn't work over my actual side puller, but my actual side puller sure makes things nice and convenient. The idea behind this product is more on the side of proper operating procedure, Rollbacks are not designed to be sideloaded outside of the bed locks, It puts sideways torque on the cylinders and the bed that it wasn't designed to withstand, We all know that it does, in fact, withstand those forces anyway but it wasn't made to do that. That is why some guys put 4x4s against the bed when it's out of the locks if they sideload it, That is also why this item exists, the idea being you can sideload the bed inside the locks for extra strength and for a simple winch out you don't have to run the bed out at all, just run the winch like a wrecker. I don't have this product, never had it before my current truck I just used a snatch block and the bed just the same as you, but my current truck with that actual side puller makes things so much nicer for so many reasons, and although this won't do what my side puller does, it does help.

I just watched the Miller attachment for their beds it uses the same hole in the steel beds except with a bolt and an additional attachment point but looks very very similar wouldn't have to be yours just resold under the Miller name would it?
