Most of KR mini players that use 12 dc volt to torture copper brushed motors with lubing it for 20 secs. I tried with the their style then it worked for me very well !

Usually it depends on the racing center here in PH where you will race if they will be super strict on the rules or they can let it slide on small things like using more screws that it not in the instruction manual.
