i usually stick to the audio way of sidechaining and utilize the time shift to create a 'pre' macro. when im only doing frequency ducking i often reach for spectral devices for spectral ducking. im going to try to use the replacer and other stuff youve shown in addition to that. keep up the great work!

Nice visual feedback indeed, but i really hope Bitwig will give us a Grid update, where users can create a custom GUI, even with pop-up windows. It’s a shame that every Grid device looks the same: like a ugly containership. It could contain pure gold, but it’s locked away, visually. (And the grid needs a PROPER audio recorder/record method into sampler for live recordings).

I really hope for containers in the Grid, as well as panel elements. That would open up a lot of possibilities.

exactly what im thinking! seeing how max msp users can seamlessly integrate their patches into their daw gets me a bit jealous at times. the recorder also has alot of room for improvement.

very cool. I think like the midi method better than gate, it's nice to know that if for whatever reason I were to play a bunch of kicks super fast all in a row then the last drum would get its sc envelope triggered properly

Oh, it's that simple. Just so easy. You're speaking alien jibberish to the uninitiated.
