CONGRATULATIONS 🥳 🎉 on 1k well deserved for the consistent high quality content on the channel. I have seen so many stellar pieces I would not otherwise have had the chance to experience were it not for your good self 😀 , so genuinely thanks so much for all your hard work it’s not gone unappreciated 👍. As for todays piece I am a big fan, it’s eye catching and intimidating, I feel where you are coming from with the paint apps but the sculpt is sound and if it were to really bother you I know that it’s possible to have it repainted? . I do sometimes feel that as collectors in 2024 we are perhaps a wee bit spoiled and our expectations nowadays are sky high with hyper realistic statues and IN art 1/6th scale figures. Cushing and Lee in 1/4 scale and the KP figures to follow 🔥what a tremendous mini collection. Have a great celebratory weekend it’’s so well deserved and as always, mind how you go 👍

Thanks my friend 👍🏻your support and positive comments have really helped in what has been a very steep learning curve and a lot of bloody hard work to get to this point. 👏🏻 I’m going to celebrate with a new figure….haven’t decided which yet🤣 I’ve had my eye Damtoys Wandering Earth figures for a while and might take the plunge. As for Dracula I think you’re quite right, there is an expectation of photorealism in modern figures and statues, but like Impressionism in painting it’s not about 100% accuracy for me, but the feel you get from a piece….I’ve never had a head sculpt repainted since I started collecting all those years ago. Don’t get me wrong the hyper realism direction the hobby is going from the likes of JND and INART is a good thing imo, but I love the art just as much as the science. Amazing statue, we are living in a Hammer Horror toy collectors golde age right now, thes statues , Kaustik incredible figures and Trick or treat has a Hammer line as well, the retro toy line from Mego monsters, the made Lee and Cushing Drac and Frankie as well as the reptiles and zombie, all great figures from Hammer. One thing about this statue, the cape should be all black, in Horror of Drácula,Lee first used the red silk cape in Dracula prince of Darkness, with a red ruby pin in his crabat, but I guess Sideshow decided to add the red for a more iconic looks, I doubt they got it wrong, more like an artistic licence.

I can’t believe I missed that detail, thanks for pointing it out, of course the cape was all black in 58… my bad. Like you say Sideshow must have taken a little artistic license and actually Im quite glad they did. Although it may annoy purists I think red is more impactful in the display.
