thanks Sidewalk Prophets! About 2 weeks ago I tried to commit suicide. I have a lot of health problems and I struggle with mental illness as well. It got to be too much for me. I attempted to take my life several times over the years. Never could figure out why nothing worked. My mother was an addict, any abuse you can name I suffered. Even as a child I knew God was real but I was angry because I PRAYED and He never came for me. Well I know now that He did. He was always with me. It's not that He allowed my suffering but He knew what I needed to endure so that I could eventually help someone else. People suffer at the hands of people not God. I know God is sad for us but we have free will to choose how we live. I encourage you to know that God loved us so much He sent us Jesus. Jesus loved us so much He laid down His life. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. I am glad both of you are still here. I really like this song. Finding God's will is not hard. Just praise and worship Him and stay in His word. He will guide you by the Holy Spirit. I have been disabled since I was 37 - I was an RN and now I am 61. I have times that I really wonder what God's purpose is for me -as the last 4 years I have been basically home bound. Then, I stop and remember, just do what we are told to do in His word and He will lead the way. Praise, worship and stay in the Word!!!! There you will find peace and refuge and purpose. He will never leave nor forsake you--His love covers you totally!!!!

Look into Gary Craig's EFT, which is a very simple tapping technique that is AMAZING at helping to release emotion and lets us feel at peace. It's so simple, but so helpful! When we love deeply, it takes much longer to heal, so please don't let society try and take your journey of healing away from you ... the expectation is to get over it, but that's mostly a society "thing". Most people don't express emotions well and so they want us to work through our emotion quickly so they don't have to feel for us. My husband was recently the victim of employment fraud, and resigned while the employer, who hasn't paid him for several weeks, was threatening him. I am going through some hardships ( or at least I was ) I was looking for a job of my own. Then I found one by the grace of God. I now have been working at OfficeMax for about 6.5 months and it is a wonderful place to work. So many people acknowledged me and I have not felt judged while working there. 4 or 5 years ago I was a single mom (after my husband of 16 years abandoned his 2 young children & myself for a man) I was struggling as a sales rep working for ungodly people that tried to get me fired...I was lost & confused..I had pulled into a parking lot because I literally had no idea where to go..I needed to increase my sales, I had no direction from supervisors, I was stuck..then this song came on the radio and I just cried and felt God was reminding me He was with me so I prayed..today I am remarried to the most loving, caring and amazing man. Many of us I believe are feeling we can't do this alone. But that's the path God has chosen for many of us. I've been single 3 years. Got Divorced from my kids father 3yrs ago. And he got cancer and died a year ago. So it's just me and my girls. Friends and family won't do Bible studies with me. They remind me when I talk about something I've learned that they know the Bible way better than I. I knew things would get bad especially in families but the turn it taken in my life I didn't expect. Maybe they never expected me to want this knowledge so deeply. I think it threatens my closest family member. Which is heartbreaking. My heart has always wanted the best for the ones I love and know for that matter. It's cost me alot of heartache throughout my life. But Christians not wanting others to grow with God I can't rap my head around.

I was thinking what I am doing with my life. I been trying to do two things everyday. But when I heard this song he showed a road to go on and it just gave me so much hope and fate in God. He made me feel that I can do anything. God did help me by showing this song help me find it. God is great. Also I will always know that I can ask for words of fate at anytime and he has the answer for it.

Went back here to give Praise to our Lord Jesus! This song has been my prayer during my difficult times when I have been dumped by my ex- boyfriend (we've dated for 6.5 yrs) at the same time had so much pressure and stress at work. Been depressed too because of family problems. As I look back, God had been so so good to me. He breaks me to build me up. I'v been reunited to church, became busy with his kingdom work, landed a very good company and now I've been married. All praises and Glory to Him! I learned that searching His will is the best for us.

It's the song that my classmate/mentor in college discovered and casually sung whenever we are altogether in cell group. I hate her singing this again and again and I hear the words to be grating. But now that I am already 25, this song accompany me in good times and in sad moments of my life. Maybe I relate to this much because I am still asking God which road I should walk in the future. I worry much of future, sure lot, its become my arsenal song.. Truly God is good in mysterious ways.
