I love technology!! Those of us that grew up in that Golden era of NBA basketball remember Legends like Coop and Sidney Moncrief. Seeing and hearing their stories, while they are with us, is so awesome!! Thank you for sharing these with us and huge thanks to Coop and Sir Sidney. We gotta get Marques Johnson in the Hall of Fame!

Sid, my man and my mentor! God allowed our paths to crossed when he and his family moved to Phoenix, AZ. Sid and I played a lot of one on one at the then America West Arena. Thanks Alvan Adams! Thank you Sid for everything you poured into me during that time... Great Interview "Coop"

As a Milwaukee native and The great Bucks teams that came so close but never won the Championship was very disappointing. They got unlucky 1 year with Junior Bridgman got hurt before the playoffs. Bird and Dr J kept getting in their way. Unfortunately

Sidney, Dr. J, Clyde Drexler are 1st-team for CLASS ACT. Imagine the impact if all entertainers projected class, humility and positivity like those three.

What's crazy is people actually think MJ played against bums... Moncrief was one of my favorites before MJ even tho I lived in Chicago! He was a really great player!

Coop so enjoy watching your show! Larry Bird , Dennis Johnson and magic are my favorites as is yourself and Dominique Wilkins. I loved watching the match ups. I m from a little Maine town and watched all the Boston sports or listened on the radio when we didn't have a tv( grew up in a family of ten kids in a very rural area). Guess that's one reason Larry Bird was a favorite. We are watching a home town boy from Newport Maine by the name of Coooer Flag now . Worth a look see. Also watching Boozer brothers. Interesting fact Cooper has a twin brother too. Thanks again for your great show!! I will be watching.

19:40 YEAH!!! I was reminding a good friend about this the other day! Moncrief was a real high flyer and you're risking guys seasons or possibly CAREERS fouling a Byron Scott or Sidney Moncrief in that way in that situation! If you have to make a hard foul YOU JUMP WITH THEM, go for the ball with one hand and grab them around the torso with the other! That way, both Players will land nearly the same time with no unnecessary risk of the prone offensive player being injured. That's how Kenny Smith got his wrist broken in College. A no jumping SCRUB on a hard foul during a dunk!!! 100% pure chicken crap! Don't believe me, WATCH FOR YOURSELF! kzbin.info/www/bejne/baGammWfdtGSp6csi=VAsTkb6dV4fq9HeW

Hey Coop you and Sidney were two of my defensive heroes . But the guy whose style absolutely I absolutely idolized as a two-way player who was on the come-up after you and Sidney moncrief was Alvin Robertson(6'4) of the San Antonio Spurs. Mr quadruple double ...
@MTXSHO9732vV8SHO Жыл бұрын
Robertson was a problem.. Remember he squared up with Shaq on a squab? That wasn't for show.

Can't say enough about Sid. He could guard the 1, 2, 3 and 4 (in a pinch, when Nelson went with his small lineup) spots. More than a few folks say that the DPOY was created because of Moncrief's shutdown play. One of my tech-savvy teachers turned that iconic SI cover into a poster that was on my bedroom wall for years and years. Btw, degenerative knee conditions suck.

Ya don’t need to be modest. I loved watching y’all if I played I would probably have called in sick if I saw I had been matched up with either of you. I’m a Sixers fan and one of your NBA competitors is need of your assistance . Andrew Toney has been stranded going home ask me to holler at you give ya the scoop. His UFO ran outta fuel and he needs Element 115. I don’t know what the hell that is. And shipping is expensive getting anything to Planet Netburn. Is that near Omaha? My map doesn’t seem to show it but if got Andrew’s # call him. Trying to get Doc as we speak. I always suspected Toney was an alien. Darn him. Ttyl
