I’ve recently had on and off pain in the area of my right hip. I can’t tell if it’s the hip joint or maybe more likely one of the ligaments surrounding the joint. The pain comes and goes. It’s most noticeable when I am sitting in the driver seat in the car. There are other times when I Am sitting (e.g. on couch) and feel no pain. Any idea what the issue could be?

Dr. Siebert, the lig inside the joint, aka Teres lig, (min 5:25) is round and gives a good windshield-wiper-like cleansing to the articular cartilage of the femoral head, with every motion of the joint . Don’t you think that that function remains for life? The Teres is really a weak ligament, and I can’t see any other function for it, in the adult.
