I use a syringe to transfer from pots to droppers saves soo much hassle and paint loss. Use the ones for kids medicine or baking. great video guys.

To add to the spray discussion Colour Forge are actual primers, Citadel sprays are an aerosolised paint. So the approach of Chaos black over a Colour Forge primer gives you the primer properties with your desired painted base over the top.

Before you put the top coat of PVA on your base, wash the surface with isopropyl alcohol. Breaks surface tension and gives rockhard finish

So when I do local commissions, I give the customer my older paint swatch sheets so they can easily select what colors they want. And I let them paint their own paints on to compare, if it is something I don't have.

for me the colour plan stage comes before even buying the miniatures. i look at the model ranges and ones i like i form ideas about colour schemes, or sometimes i have an idea for a colour scheme first and then thing about what range it would look good on. buying models basically happens when im so in love with a colour scheme idea that i have to see it implemented. but i dont write down pots of paint first, i dont think in terms of specific bottles of premixed colours, i just think about colours and techniques, then when i do a test model i work out what actual specific colour bottles im gonna use and i write them down after ive painted the first successful test model. but i know before ive even bought the model what it looks like and what techniques im gonna use to achieve it.

if you want the minis to dry faster but don't want to mess with them after applying the primer, ou can pre-heat them with the hair dryer. Large cardboard box, up minis in box, point hairdryer into box. Obviously don't let the minis get too hot, but you can use that to our advantage if you have warped ones! it means it quickdrys, but only after its settled on the mini and you arent fussing with them after. As for your writer/director team, I think Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish could make that group work.

Danny Devito as a Ratling Sniper 😁 Another great chat guys. My tip for journalling projects would be the Brushrage app by Hendarion. So much functionality. My Warhammer movie would have either been Gaunts Ghosts in the style of Sharpe, Custodes as Dads Army (modern film cast with Toby Jones is spot on). But the golden rule is that any film or plot can be redone with Muppets and one human lead so maybe Horus Heresy with Jason Mamoa as the Emperor. Animal as Angron obvs 😂.
