Hi IGS, How much does AM2 AQ2 expansion card cost, I enquired the price of this, it is more costlier than LOGO 8! PLC. Does it cost's 97$? Please suggest me a website buy it in reasonable price.

Thanks for the tutorial. can you please tell me what does the rtd unit do that only am2 can't. Also do I need special ethernet equipments from siemens or basic D-Link ethernet equipments are alright for tcp rtu

Hi There. RTD unit is specially designed to handle RTD thermocouples such as PT100. These units are smart units that can process these signals without additional equipment. When it come to Ethernet TCP RTU, any switches can be used, don't have to be Siemens. So your D link equipment will work just fine.

I have a LOGO! 6ED1052-1FB08-0BA0 module that came with some equipment. Can I connect with the software while the PLC is running? Also, is there any removable on-board memory that holds the program? If so, can this be removed while PLC is in run? I'd like to create a backup with it. FYI, I'm in the process of getting the software and a cable so I can connect.

Hi There. Yes you can connect software wile PLC is running, but you can not upload or downlead wile plc is running. It will stop for brief seconds for getting program out or in. You don't need software to back up you program, that can be done with mico SD card in slot x50 in front of your controller. I might make a video of it this weekend.
