Hello, I am following the video to establish Modbus TCP/IP communication between my PLC and a controller (which will be my server) using the MB_Client function in TIA. I need to read and write. However, I am not able to figure out why it is not working. Is there a specific way of assigning the ID for each block of MB_Client (why do you choose 10 and 20, is it random?)? When you define within the Instance DB the MB_Unit_ID to 1, should it always be like this? I am not able to figure out whether I am missing something. Thank you in advance!

Id for each block is randomly. And MB_Unit_ID will be 1,2,3..... 255 (depends on how many device you used).

Thank you very much for your response. And so if I want to Read and Write the same registers for one single server, therefore the MB_Unit_ID should be 1 in both cases. At the moment I am able to read and write separately, but, not when I use the 2 blocks for read/write at the same time. For some reason, both MB_Client blocks remain ´Busy´.

@@inesmartinez9964 Have you tried using opposite clocks for each block, one clock normally open and another clock normally closed?
