In France the Eurostar 374 only have 25kV sound, quite simply because the conventional lines at Paris Gare du Nord are under 25kV. The 1500V DC is at the Gare du Sud in Paris. After for me, the ICE is the "screaming train".

There is no difference in the VFD when using different overhead power. But there are limitations to how much power the train can draw when under 1.5kV and 3kV. So the train has to accelerate slower with less power, and that is why the waveform is different. Under 25kV the train can draw full power at any given time. Similar would be a car if you only press the accelerator pedal 1/4, 1/2 or fully, the engine would make different sounds.

It’s the classic electrification type for the Class 374 or the E320.

I didn't know that the Class 374 has 4 (3) different sounds. At the beginning I thought it only had two different sounds (1500V from the Netherlands and 25000V from LGV, HS1 and more), but I was wrong

The netherlands uses 2 diffrent systems one for the standard dutch trains and an one for the dutch HSL Zuid.

For some reason, I intensely dislike the sound it makes under almost all systems, apart from 25kV AC. Maybe that's just because we have the same electrification system here in Spain for our LAV lines. Greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Perhaps you could do Thameslink Class 700, South Western Railway Class 707 and Great Northern Class 717 Desiro City.
