Afternoon Adam this happened to me when I was your age my Mrs pissed of with my 3 year old , I sold everything paid her off moved back to mum and dads , thought wtf to start with but once your mum has done all your washing and cooked your dinners, you will realise life is not so bad , Just remember what ever you and your x Mrs do in the future, put your daughter before anything or any future woman, my lad is 23 years old now and we have a good dad son relationship, I even still get on with his mum , it will get easier Adam take care stay strong

I've never commented before but felt compelled to having seen your recent uploads. I'm going through the same scenario, I don't know the specifics of your situation Adam but chin up mate it will get better. Just focus on yourself and put your daughter first. I am £30k down on legal fees so far on a useless biased justice system and have had to move back in with my parent while the wife continues to live it up in our £900k home while I pay mortgage, private school fees, au pair etc... What was supposed to be a message of solidarity and support to Adam at this difficult time for him, has been commented on with this uneducated reply from someone that does not know me, my financial position, how long I have been married or the reason for the breakdown of my marriage. As hard as it may seem to some people, £900k is not a lot of money for a home like mine in certain parts of the country, such as where I live. Spread positivity, not hate folks and the internet would be a far better place.

It is sad but just to be fair and speaking from experience, it tends to be the man who has the stuff that takes up all the space. And I mean expensive space like a 2 car garage etc. She might have loads of stuff too but it's clutter and can fit in a room. Their interests are much cheaper and easier to move than ours, generally speaking.

I'm in a similiar situation and know what Adam is going through. Have been in the same place since 2017 which has been wicked because the rent's been affordable and I haven't had one increase. Well the property belonged to on overseas investor, and they've sold it to a local real estate investor and they wanted to almost double my current rent (this was in February) I said there was no way I could afford that and have enough money to eat. I ended up getting them to give me no rent increase, and until August to vacate. As I'm going into a small apartment most likely, I'm only keeping the stuff I'd have undercover storage space for . I've had to sell tools, spare parts, performance parts and vehicles - I'm only keeping my Aerox scooter and my Daily Driver car aswell and my work tools and my best Automotive tools and gear. It's actually good in some cases to get rid of stuff you haven't used in over 7 years (I had some Glow Powered R/C Plane stuff that I hadn't used in almost 8 years, and it was good because they went to a teenager who wanted to get into the hobby) You can only really do ONE Hobby and give it the focus it deserves..

Storage units aren't too expensive mate, I stored our whole house in one when our house sale went on too long. Few hundred quid a month and they provided an on site van you could book out for free whenever you needed it.

How many people in here don’t realise that when you split up, you don’t just keep something because it’s ‘yours’!! If everything’s being split 50-50 you’d have to find money to give her half the value of the car if you want to keep it! So if you’ve a collection of assets worth £100k you want to hold onto, you’d have to find £50k to pay her off! It really is quite simple….

You cannot do that, you need to get rid of everything sharpish and for cash or you sell the car part money transfer part cash so when they go to take whatever portion for her its only a little bit. If you sell stuff for £1 they will purposely use that as an excuse to say you went out your way to prevent her getting her half and they will just use more of the property against you. You need to have already put in place measures to stop them getting anything that belongs to you or you need to get rid sharpish and claim it was like Adam is doing "didnt have space to keep it" You cant have both mate

Adam im 40 now and when i was in my very late teens early 20's when rs turbo's and cosworths were dirt cheap that's when i had them but i didn't realise how much they would increase in value but I'm very happy that I've lived the dream of owning cosworths and thrashing them around when at the time my mates were driving around in mg zr's with 105bhp on finance 😂im actually very jealous of the position that ur currently in because at the end of the day no relationship lasts but cosworths do
