Very true word's from Paul - if you look at the Ferrari 250 GTO'S in period they are mostly cobbled together , temporary repairs etc after various smashes of all kinds of description! Now they're one of the most valuable cars in the world...

It won’t be running the original ECU (ignition module) with being on dizzy. Be curious if has gearbox sensor lead or any of the 16i wiring under the bonnet (again I’m guessing not as can’t see the 16i grommet) easy enough to put onto twin coils if that was wanted.

Fuel fillers may be different because one of them is filler the other one is vent valve. When you filling big amount of fuel in short time in to the tank you need to have a way to went equaly huge amount of pressure. If you want 10 galons of fuel in 5s you need to evacuate 10 galons of air in 5s somehow (kind off). They probably fitted additional tank filler on the side of the car just for filling it before race in more conventional way (without specialized race cans).
