One hot summer night about 6 years ago or so, I was leaving the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville, lit a cigarette, and was frozen mid step by the most haunting and mesmerizing voice I had ever experienced. She was in a doorway leading to a closed shoppette, a man was playing along with her and another was either keeping time or sitting out, but I can't tell you any other details about THEM. All I know is that we locked eyes and I could have looked into that moment for eternity. We were immediately connected. We exchanged information, I grabbed a demo/mixtape, and we've stayed in touch. I've always told her that she is destined for greatness and that a voice such as hers will forever demand an audience. Seems I was right. Sierra, if you see this, I'm proud of you, and it seems that I'm not the only man (or woman) that has a chronic infatuation with you following the exact moment our eyes met lol. ted furlo Now that's an unexpected comparison. Voice-wise you canna compare them. Sierra's voice is melodious, and even sweet at times. You could never say that about Leadbelly's voice although it was an authoritative voice.
