so... not to be this person, but I went to cosmetology school and once your hair is already grown out of your head, there is nothing you can do for it. So the vitamins won't help your hair that's already grown and damaged. You would have to use the vitamins for a LONG time to actually see the difference in your hair when it comes to the shine or how it feels. Just an FYI for anyone wondering.
@KaylaNoelle15 жыл бұрын
The only things you can do are use a bond repairing product like olaplex and add moisture with oils. Your hair shaft doesn’t receive blood flow, that would be horrifying, so yeah what you eat won’t make a difference.

@@Lisa_Uncensored - this is an extremely unnecessary reply and you either don't understand what she wrote or you're clueless to how hair works. All the claims that hair vitamins will make your current hair softer/shinier etc. are 100% false. Hair is dead, there is no way that something you ingest could change it. The only thing it could theoretically have an effect on is the new hair growth from the time you start taking the vitamins, so you'd have to wait and take the vitamins for years to see dramatic effects.

I tried the sugar bear hair supply. I measured my hair before I took them in a month advance, I had an inch of growth. I then took the supplement, and had the exact same growing time. I did notice that is actually dried out my body and made me more thirsty for some reason. I do take regular vitamins to help over all health, so maybe my hair just grows faster (once it is out of the roots). Who knows. I don’t think sugar bear actually doesn’t anything. These fast fashion brands do have implications, and even if you still choose to shop at them (like you've said, different people make different sacrifices when it comes to how to be good to the planet and the people and animals on it), I think it's really important to know what you're supporting and then be able to make an informed decision. I will never buy from Shein, because they can sell their clothes so cheap only if they don't pay anything to the people, who make these clothes. No one in a healthy mind will support slave labor.
@daisybutinhertennisoutfit4 жыл бұрын
unfortunately this applies even to Walmart, Forever 21, Target and even more “expensive” clothing companies. And things like Apple. It’s nearly impossible to shop without inadvertently contributing to the global slave and child labor industry.
@AA-hy6nb4 жыл бұрын
@@daisybutinhertennisoutfit Nowdays there are many fair-trade companies, who take good care of their workers. So there is an alternative,- either you search for an ethical company, where things cost more, - but then you can afford just one new blouse every several month,- or you buy every month cheap junk from Forever 21. The choice is yours.
@daisybutinhertennisoutfit4 жыл бұрын
A A That is not the point I was making. If you sent that reply from a smartphone you’ve already contributed. I’m saying it’s not as easy as thrift shopping and conscious shopping at Lush. There’d have to be a massive overturn. We can lessen our contribution but it’d be nearly impossible to never consume a product that was not the result of slave/child labor.
@AA-hy6nb4 жыл бұрын
@@daisybutinhertennisoutfit I have sent this reply from the computer, and I use each computer, which I purchase, untill it stops working. As I phone I use old Nokia, which was produced in Finland by well-paid Finnish workers, when Nokia was still totally Finnish. There are special services, which sell old phones online. And the truth is, that now, due to the world health situation (let's call it this way), people are more&more interested in buying locally produced goods. If you live in UK, or US, or Europe,- you can order clothes from local tailors, buy groceries on farmers markets et cetera. But I do admit, that you will spend more time, money and energy for shopping; and you would have to give up the idea to stay "trendy" by upgrading your phone, PC and other gadgets every second year, as many people do now. You would have to dare to be not like the crowd.
@daisybutinhertennisoutfit4 жыл бұрын
A A A A I have had an iPhone 6s since high school. If your argument is overconsumption that’s fine, mine is that it’s impossible to never contribute so it’s hard to say that “no one with a healthy mind will ever contribute”. Especially for people who financially have to be Walmart (etc.) shoppers, you know. Overconsumption is for sure an issue, I agree there.
