Was that wonderful sphere that you worked so hard to retrieve, dislodged from it's original placement in the ravages of war? Was it cast off in demolition to make room for a new roadway, was it a decorative finial at all? One can only imagine what it is, where it was and how it came to be, resting in a river bed, watched over by doves and tickled by the water's ever flowing turbulence. I love this video.
