I was there, very young and confused. Still got the book somewhere.

This is SO cool. Moorcock is such a prolific genius. Pyat is so fascinating, repelling and attracting simultaneously, just like nature which is neither good nor evil.

First time I've seen this - very funny. As anti-hero's go, Colonel Pyat is probably the most delusional and repulsive of them all. But I was pleased I eventually managed to read all four books in the series. It took me a few minutes to get used to the actor, but after that - very enjoyable.

@@JETJOOBOY It took me a long time to appreciate the Jerry Cornelius stories; but I got there in the end! Colonel Pyat is probably much the same - I had a big gap between reading the first two and the last, and had to get back into the swing of them again. AN audio version would need some cracking voice actors to work, but it could be great. Ebay is probably the best place to track down any books you are missing.
