Might need to check the small steel ring around the rear of the valve cap if the gun won't recock itself after shots. Might leak a bit too much between the valve body and the hammer's internal wall. Way nice video. I finally got to see a good view of the MPX's barrel assembly. I just own the old MCX version. Now I'd wanna have an MPX also..😁🤣

Ok so the sig mcx mpx are pretty awesome but they need care. To start you got to out the charging handle before you can shoot it. Pellets need seating correctly or they won't shoot right. Never shoot with co2 and no pellet running through it. Last thing that should be said first is the pcp thing. I have been around a while now and hear from a lot of different people about these. The biggest issues i have seen is they always break on pcp, get a double 12g adapter its better suited. If that broke after just 3 months i would have returned it instantly, not sure how Scotland works with returns but in England we get a full year. My sigs come with lifetime service and repair so i got lucky, also i have never had any issue with mine

They're not good guns. The internals rattle about, the engineering tolerances are terrible. The plastic parts are flimsy, the metal brittle and poorly cast. The shooting cycle is, well, imprecise to say the least. (It's a surprise the trigger is as good as it is...) The gun only runs on C02 or HPA. You say HPA breaks it (it doesn't, unless you over-charge), but also say don't run on C02 but use a 2x12gm adaptor. (Not to mention the wear on the threaded valve from constantly changing C02 caps...) Scotland has the same consumer laws as England. But if you buy one 2nd hand... And these Sigs most assuredly do not come with lifetime service and repair - would that they did.

My mag jams all the time the gun works perfectly fine with mag out used the tool to seat the pellets corrected provided with the Gun, any help appreciated checked mags in good condition only had it few months 4 shots then a jam or sometimes won’t fire at all

Only thing I can suggest is getting the side off it, and having a look to check none of the mechanism that progresses the belt has come adrift. Other thing to check is if the barrel is seated correctly. The flash suppressor unscrews - you can then unscrew the barrel itself. Sometimes it double loads and you get two or three pellets jammed between the mag belt and the barrel interface thingy. (The block the barrel screws into.)

Possibly the Nozzle is jamming. Hold unside down look inside magwell. Do not charge the gun. Squeeze the trigger and ensure the nozzel moves back and forth when you squeeze the trigger everytime. If it is jamming remove the nozzle and slightly take off the REAR edge with emery paper. The nozzle should be always keep clean. I do not lube the nozzle as it attracts dirt dust.

I disassembled the gun, fixed the pin and closed everything again.. now the trigger no longer seems to do its job well.. did I do something wrong? thanks for the reply in advance

Check the safety catch is in the proper place. Then check the feeding mechanism at the top of where the magazine seats into the mag well. You can't really test the trigger action with the gun apart unfortunately.

@@pabroon74 thanks for the advice.. unfortunately the pin kept losing its position and made me shoot the gun like a machine gun (single shot) I hope this hasn't caused problems with the piston and I hope to resolve it. However... I replaced the pin with a 4mm screw (Allen screw) which I screwed in with a thread lock (into the 4mm thread previously created. I lowered the screw that measures 4.2mm to 2.6 and made it conical... that one shoots like a bomb and now I don't think it will ever move again.

@@deusmax Sounds good. The pin in my gun was fine, I didn't have to do anything with it. But replacing it with a screw or similar is the popular fix. Interestingly or not, every now and again, the gun would fire 'full auto' - however it's just the blowback mech resetting and firing, since the mag belt doesn't advance it doesn't fire any pellets. Sounds cool though.

@@pabroon74 Now I understand why it blocks but I don't think I can solve it... the final piston, where the high pressure in the pellet comes out, advances upon firing but does not return, consequently blocking the rotation of the pellet belt. I think I've reached the point of throwing in the towel, I see no way out

@@deusmax Okay. There should be a spring there. It's a helical spring, and it only goes back in one way. I think it's shown on the video. If it's what I think you mean - the nipple-like thing that delivers high pressure air to the pellet in the belt... To be honest, on my gun - it doesn't really do anything. When you pull the trigger - part of that action pushes that nipple against the belt - the spring should cause it to return. (I assume this is what you mean - I'm playing with it at 11m 45s in part 2. The black plastic clip there, holds the spring in place. If that's what you mean.

Could you do a video on how I can remove the barrel please, thank you
@pabroon74
@pabroon74 Жыл бұрын
Hi. No video required really... It just unscrews. If you remove (unscrew) the 'flash suppressor' you'll see the end of the steel barrel. It just unscrews and slides out.

It's a definite hit or miss kind of gun. They're great fun when they're working. Bit of a pain to load the belt mags. But again. great fun... The other thing to note is - the trigger is actually not bad. For all the internal mechanisms the trigger pull actuates - it's pretty decent for the price. They kind of got that right I think. It's just everything else that's a bit hit or miss. If you don't mind fettling, it might be worth it.
